Great pair of pants. These aren't as tough as your classic carhart heavy canvas pants. The washed twill material is more like a dockers khaki pants weight. That being said, they are great pants for light work, hot days, or casual affairs. Hammer loop is essential. Fit is slimmer which i personally like. Can easily dress these up with a button down shirt. Bottom line: you're not going to wear these logging, but are a great versatile pant for most everything else. Fit is true to size, but a bit slim.

We'll start off by saying I've had these pants before... I tried changing to a few other things that were lighter weight as these guys get rather toasty in the summer, but the north face, columbia, and marmot stuff just isn't made for people who aren't nice to their clothes. These pants aren't very breathable, but the stitching is great and they take plenty of abuse... grease stains wash away about 95%, so not too bad at all compared to most other products. If you have a tough job and need some toiugh clothes though, you can't find better.

My husband loves these pants. These were purchased to replace some worn out Carhartts from many years ago. The fit is perfect and flattering. They are relaxed in the thigh without looking sloppy. This version is much softer feeling than the older pants. The fabric is a nice, durable mid-weight with a comfortable feel. They look and feel more like traditional office khakis than heavy duty work wear. The black are very nice, field khaki looks like business casual khaki pants and the dark khaki is more like the traditional Carhartt orangey-brown. I placed a trial order of 3 pair, and will be coming back for more. I have no doubt that if we treat them right they will last for many years.

So comfortable right out of the package, carhartt so im sure it will be hold up for a long time, the fit is good, maybe a little big around the ankles but its supposed to accomodate boots so thats forgiven. I thought the extra pockets and loops would be obtrusive but i barely notice them.

Quality that you would expect from a Carhartt product. Very comfortable twill material but yet durable. Dressy enough to wear to church! Casual enough for play and durable enough for work.

Great pants for work, and climbing

Since purchasing these khakis several months ago they have been worn and washed numerous times. They have stood up to the rigors of many a contsruction site, as well as being comfortable pants for bouldering. I also may add that this is probably the most stylish (by contemporary standards) pairs of Carhartt pants I've seen to date.

These pants are great. Reason for 4 stars across the board instead of 5 is that while they are comfortable, they seem to run a tad snugger than my other carhartts of the same size. They aren't as durable as the duck weight, but are intended for more casual use.
