The day after I got these pants, I threw them on in the dark for an impromtu fishing trip on Christmas eve. Got to the bay and found 44F temps, and the flags were at 90 deg to the poles from the 25mph north wind blowing in with the cold front. Fished all morning in these ridiculous conditions, but stayed comfortable the whole time. Never felt the wind on my legs, nor the occassional spray from the waves while crossing the water. Wiped my slimey wet hands on my butt/thigh after each catch, but never felt any of the residue through the tough as nails material. Was willing to pay several hundred dollars on "technical gear" to achieve the same results I got with these!! Worth every penny, and then some. Don't hesitate to buy!! A tad baggy compared to a pair of jeans, but not like a pair of 1980's ski pants or similar classic cold weather patterns.

Pants very durable through all situations. comfortable and easy to climb around on the steel in these. Have kept me very warm in Illinois winters. This is my third pair. Love them

These fit my husband perfectly and are just what he wanted for Christmas. I really don't know about durability yet so I shouldn't have rated that. They are warm, suitable for outdoor work in PA.

Great pants, i wear them on every colder day to work and they have never let me down. They are just a little baggy in the legs for my taste, but not enough to really complain about. I have ordered these pants in 2 colors and considering getting a third. Definitely recommended!

Excellent build and nice and warm. I'm 6', 180lbs. Waist 33", inside leg 32" and these fit me perfectly. Were a little stiff when I first wore them but they get softer after being washed.

Great warm pants but have very wide legs. I wanted them for riding my motorcycle in the winter but because of their width i would use them for other purposes.

I was afraid these pants would be too bulky to wear around the house & in the garage. But they've been a pleasure to have on. After a couple of washes the "Duck" material is soft and nonrestrictive. The flannel is just the right weight.

I haven't tested these pants out yet, but they fit nice (possibly run a little small) and seem warm. I've used Carhartt clothing in the past, so I'm assuming these pants will hold up to wear and tear.

These have to be the best winter pants I have ever owned. They stop the wind and keep you nice and toasty in cold Michigan winters. The quality of these Carhartt pants will keep them around for years. Highly recommended to anyone.

Excellany quality and durability, the fit is true to size. These pants are perfect for outdoor wear in the cold or indoor wear in low heat facillities such as a warehouse etc. Originally purchased a pair 5 years ago and they are still in excellant wearing condition

My boyfriend works outside and basically lives in these all winter. They're just a great classic, warm, quality-made, tough work pant. I couldn't find his size in local stores so was psyched that Altrec had them. They're very stiff when new but a few washes in, they're super soft.

I have purchased two pairs of these pants because I love them so much. In the winter time, I throw them on as soon as I come home from work. They are perfect for lounging or going out and shoveling snow for a couple hours. I like throwing them in the dryer for a couple minutes so they're nice and toasty when I put them on.

The Carhartt jeans fit well in terms of non-trendyness (i.e., not low rise, not tapered, etc.) and the flannel lining makes a real difference in keeping warm.

carhartt is awesome. very well made. very warm. these pants are a bit heavier than i usually wear, and just a bit stiff, but after a couple washes, are getting pretty darn comfortable.

These pants are great! The fit is excellent and the look nice. The bonus is the flannel lining which keeps me extra warm. I wear them to outdoor soccer games when the weather gets colder.
