Great pair of very warm jeans
October 04, 2012

I bought these for a colder-weather motorcycle riding pant. Ive always loved Carhartt duck fabric for coats and I have a pair of uninsulated bibs that I use for working on the truck, so this was an easy call to make. The jeans are really stiff at first, but like all duck cloth, they break in with washing and wear. They're WARM. Riding, they do everything I wanted for chilly fall mornings... they block the wind well, they keep my legs warm, and they'll provide a decent barrier against unexpected encounters with pavement on my short in-town commute to work. But they're warm. I tried keeping them on all day at work in an office and they kept me on the verge of sweating, so for my purposes, I bring a change of pants afterwards. For outdoors though, using them hunting, working around the house, riding the bike, etc etc they're splendid. Well constructed, warm, comfortable, tough as nails - Everything I expect from Carhartt.

Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, warm, tough as nails

I haven't tested these pants out yet, but they fit nice (possibly run a little small) and seem warm. I've used Carhartt clothing in the past, so I'm assuming these pants will hold up to wear and tear.

Nice & Warm
November 30, 2011

Excellent build and nice and warm. I'm 6', 180lbs. Waist 33", inside leg 32" and these fit me perfectly. Were a little stiff when I first wore them but they get softer after being washed.

Pros: Build quality, warm

Good fit, warm and toasty
February 17, 2010

The Carhartt jeans fit well in terms of non-trendyness (i.e., not low rise, not tapered, etc.) and the flannel lining makes a real difference in keeping warm.

Great pants, i wear them on every colder day to work and they have never let me down. They are just a little baggy in the legs for my taste, but not enough to really complain about. I have ordered these pants in 2 colors and considering getting a third. Definitely recommended!

Flannel rocks
December 10, 2012

These flannel lined Carhartts are so warm and comfortable you'll never want to take them off! I live and work in a temperate rain forest and frequently wear these while out on hikes. Even during intense rains they never soak through, and the flannel lining keeps me warm. They fit baggy. Definitely recommended!

Carhartt flannel-lined work pants
January 02, 2011

My boyfriend works outside and basically lives in these all winter. They're just a great classic, warm, quality-made, tough work pant. I couldn't find his size in local stores so was psyched that Altrec had them. They're very stiff when new but a few washes in, they're super soft.

Great Cool Weather Pants
April 11, 2013

These are perfect for cool weather. I work outside year round and these are the ticket for cool days that are too warm for cover-all, but too cool to skip on an extra layer. These are very soft feeling on the inside and I find them much more comfortable and less restrictive than wearing my thermals under an unlined pain of carhartt pants. I'm sure I will get many seasons of use and abuse out of them just like all my other carhartts.

Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Great value

my new favorite brand

carhartt is awesome. very well made. very warm. these pants are a bit heavier than i usually wear, and just a bit stiff, but after a couple washes, are getting pretty darn comfortable.

Worth every penny
January 05, 2012

The day after I got these pants, I threw them on in the dark for an impromtu fishing trip on Christmas eve. Got to the bay and found 44F temps, and the flags were at 90 deg to the poles from the 25mph north wind blowing in with the cold front. Fished all morning in these ridiculous conditions, but stayed comfortable the whole time. Never felt the wind on my legs, nor the occassional spray from the waves while crossing the water. Wiped my slimey wet hands on my butt/thigh after each catch, but never felt any of the residue through the tough as nails material. Was willing to pay several hundred dollars on "technical gear" to achieve the same results I got with these!! Worth every penny, and then some. Don't hesitate to buy!! A tad baggy compared to a pair of jeans, but not like a pair of 1980's ski pants or similar classic cold weather patterns.

Great for lounging or working
December 14, 2010

I have purchased two pairs of these pants because I love them so much. In the winter time, I throw them on as soon as I come home from work. They are perfect for lounging or going out and shoveling snow for a couple hours. I like throwing them in the dryer for a couple minutes so they're nice and toasty when I put them on.

Great FIT
December 14, 2012

They fit just the way the reviews said they would! The waist is true to size and the length I purchased size 34" was exactly one inch larger 35"! It was exactly what I wanted and the flannel lining is perfect for the cold Idaho temperatures! I also like the various colors offered and purchased several! You can't go wrong with these pants!!

These have to be the best winter pants I have ever owned. They stop the wind and keep you nice and toasty in cold Michigan winters. The quality of these Carhartt pants will keep them around for years. Highly recommended to anyone.

Good Bargain
December 01, 2012

Saw this pair of pants on the site and took a chance on ordering. I like the Carhart brand and had other lined pants but did not know if these pants would fit right. I generally don't like to shop online for clothing. To my pleasant surprise they fit perfectly and were of the quality I have come to expect from that company. Buying them through Altrec was also great for the savings. I don't think I could have gotten them for the same price at the store.

Love these dungarees
March 11, 2013

These are my favorite pants that Carhartt makes. I love the fit and durability, plus the flannel lining makes them even more warm and comfortable. Living in the Pacific Northwest, they are perfect to wear during the fall and winter months. I have just about every color except the Gravel, which I'm sure I'll pick up when they get marked down. Altrec customer service and shipping is just awesome. The pants were shipped for free and I received them the next day! Thank you Altrec.

Not too bulky, but nice and warm.
November 18, 2011

I was afraid these pants would be too bulky to wear around the house & in the garage. But they've been a pleasure to have on. After a couple of washes the "Duck" material is soft and nonrestrictive. The flannel is just the right weight.

Pros: Build quality, Great value, Performance

These pants were exactly as described.
March 02, 2009

These pants are great! The fit is excellent and the look nice. The bonus is the flannel lining which keeps me extra warm. I wear them to outdoor soccer games when the weather gets colder.
