Description
Carhartt's Work-Flex™ coat is lightweight, but highly durable and perfect for wet or dirty conditions. It's made of 100% polyester knit fabric with a Polyurethane coating. We've heat sealed the seams to make it both waterproof and wind-resistant. Our coat also features a double-front storm channel closure with inside and outside snap closures, interior adjustable storm cuffs and a three-piece detachable hood.

I bought a small one of these for my wife after her previous lined raincoat ruined a couple of shirts (by bleeding). The coat is well-constructed and has lots of nice features. After spending some time in it the only noticeable complaint is that the hood doesn't extend far enough forward. This may be by design so that you can have it on and still maintain peripheral vision, but it could have better coverage. Overall though it is a quality item at a very fair price.

the best rain wear i have ever used, i work in the drilling industry where rain wear is very important (as it never rains in the oil field)

let's see what this carhartt can handle.. Like the detachable hood,the adjustable cuffs and deep pockets where you need'em. Looks like it could be warm even when worn by it's self. Only time will tell how it'll hold up..
