I've searched high & low for the perfect cargo replacement skirts since I can no longer fit into my old ones! This carhartt cargo is a dream come true as it fits perfectly and has excellent quality & durability! I highly recommend this skirt, especially since the price is also unbeatable!

Absolutely love this skirt! The quality is excellent and the fit is right on. There's a little bit of stretch in the fabric for added comfort and extra pockets for "stuff" .

...i'd like to add two footnotes to the fit and the 'i'd recomment this product' options. first, the fit. i'd say it runs somewhere between 'true' and 'slightly smaller'. it's more fitted than previous cargo skirts i've owned, and i disagree with the review by bodyworker: there's not much stretch to it and the extra pockets do not hold a lot of 'stuff' (think iphone in one and small skinny wallet in the other, that's it). secondly, the recommendation. i would recommend this to anyone looking for a slightly dressier version of a cargo skirt, but remember this isn't as if someone took a pair of carhartt work pants and made a work skirt - don't try to do any rough jobs in this one. many years ago i had a green cargo skirt made of rip-stop nylon which i was sad to get rid of when i lost enough weight to drop three dress sizes. i have been looking *for*years* to replace it, and i thought i'd finally found it's longed-for successor with this skirt, but things aren't quite peaches and cream. the cut and the length are perfect for me: a straight-cut skirt (no a-line or pencil shape) that hits just above the knee (a good length for work), and i agree with the other reviews about it's material: soft, supple, and not too thick or thin - good for a semi-casual office environment. the actual make of the skirt is very good: seams are strong, stitching is straight and even, buttons well-attached, drawstring and liner are durable, and the zipper is metal (not plastic - a big plus!) however i *do*not* find this material as durable as i would expect a carhartt product to be. for example: while moving a piece of furniture in my office, i backed into the corner of a low filing cabinet. the corner caught the fabric of the skirt and proceeded to tear a small, square hole. i am not a heavy-set person, i was not carrying a ridiculously heavy load, and the filing cabinet was not rough of banged-up in any way. i'm disappointed that this skirt couldn't take a little bump like this one; i've had carhartt work pants that lasted me for years without so much as a nick. however, since i've been hunting a skirt like this for so long, i will end up buying another one to keep as a back-up. my one wish is that it would be a little more durable.

Soft and perfect fit and length. Not too short or too long! I expected the stone color to be more of an off white not a very light tan color. The skirt is not to thick or too thin of material. It is well made! The sizing is accurate. I really like how it's dress casual and comfortable! I have gotten positive feedback from a friend, and she has ordered the Carhartt skirt in a few different colors and sizes! The quality is superb! Thank you Altrec for your fast shipping service! This has proven to be a great casual skirt. The cotton is soft and comfortable without being to flimsy or easily torn. Perfect with a pair of sandals and a girly polo style shirt.
