Great pants for the money
January 08, 2012
First time a size has really fit me the way I wanted. I wish these came in several different colors! I like the thickness of the double fronts and will NOT hesitate to order more pairs.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, size is a true fit!, Cons: pants run longAmazing

So apparently Carharts are impossible to find in stores in Massachusetts, and when you look for them at home in Buffalo, they don't sell "women's" sizes (because we're too tough, right?), meaning I had to entirely guess what size to order online. I'm relatively small (5'2, 105lbs), so I got the smallest size they make (2), and they actually fit pretty great. There's plenty of space for under layers, and there's honestly nothing better for biking and walking through blizzards. They functionally double as snow pants, for my needs at least (being a bike courier in New England winters). Warm, wind-blocking, lots of useful pockets, and the dark-brown color hides dirt and bike grease nicely, which is a necessity because I have to wear them literally every day. They're so awesome, I'd buy another pair if I wasn't so poor.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: CostMay 15, 2012
I wear these while working on deck on my tanker, and find them excellent. I have a small waist and full hips, and these fit great. They are also very durable and hard-wearing... i get oil and grease on them, and am subjected to lots of stuff that would otherwise cut or bruise me if i were not wearing these pants. love them!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useThe best pants

I've had experience with Carhartt pants and jackets in the past, and they're always been the most positive. I've never coveted any other brand of clothing, but when I have the money for it, I find myself desperately trying to find a pair that'll fit me. Though I ordered a size or two too large by accident, they still fit well and don't look unflattering. These pants are like armor made of cloth. I wore them and a Carhartt jacket through an overgrown forest path with too many blackberries and nettles, and for the first time, I was neither pricked nor stung. Thorns scrape off of the pants instead of sticking in the heavy fabric. These are expensive, but, without a question, worth the price.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, never fades, Cons: CostSeptember 23, 2010
THe pants fit perfectly. Waist, butt and lenghth were perfect. Thick but movable. Definitely for working in or cold weather hiking which is what I will use them for.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of useFit

Finally found a good fit for the carharts work pants. Front waist area is a better fit than the men's similar size option. The legs are better too. I think there are couple of hip loops that are new to the style since I last purchased the Men's version over 15 years ago that I am not as happy with. I think they are hammer loops. I am a gardner and hopefully will find a use for them, but from a fit perspective, they make my hips look more rounded because of the extra fabric. Nothing I can't live with. Looking forward to another 15 year relationship with a favorite pair of pants.
Pros: Build qualityCarhartt for Women!

Love these double front pants. Size runs true to size. Purchased in a washed dark denim as well as a washed lighter blue. Great price for a long wearing work pant for the garden or just putzy around outstide.

Strange fitting
November 13, 2011
I don't have much of a waist so Carhartts usually fit funny on me. In order to get the waist to fit I have to order 3 sizes larger which leaves the rest of the pant super baggy. I don't mind too much as I do a lot of bending, kneeling and at times wear Under Armour Cold Gear under to battle the cold. Besides I'm not at work to look good, so tight/stretch jeans are of no use to me. Be careful of the lengths too. They run at least 2" longer than listed. My first pair was a 34" inseam and I had to hem them up 4". I usually wear a 32" inseam.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Cons: Cost, small waist, rise too highAlready own the Carhartt Double Front Sandstone Work Dungaree? Tell us your thoughts.

These pants are super well made and durable. I've been building barbed wire fence and these pants are great because they do not rip with the heavy canvas and double front. They fit nicely and even have a flattering feminine shape. I got one pair and immediately ordered 2 more pairs!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Cons: fabrick is a bit stiffGreat purchase

Finally decided that I needed my own pair of Carhart pants after seeing my husband wear them for years. I am extremely happy with them. They fit great, true to my size.
Most comfortable pair of work pants I've ever owned.

I ordered a size larger for work, but if you want to look cool order your regular size.
