WARM!
December 02, 2009
These gloves aren't the most glamorous, but they sure are warm. If you are looking for gloves that are warm and don't constrict your function, these are the ones! These are heavy-duty warm gloves that don't impair dexterity. Also, love the leather palms!

I think I ordered the wrong size(need a medium)and will exchange the gloves BUT other than that the way the gloves feel on my hand is just what i am looking for--warmth with GOOD flexibility and mobility for my fingers---ordered my husband a pair.
Thank goodness!

I have had a terrible time finding good work gloves built for small female hands. These gloves are form fitting for dexterity and yet are very durable. They are indeed waterproof. I live and work on a cattle ranch and highly recommend these gloves to anyone! Thank you Carhartt!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, waterproofAlready own the Carhartt Insulated Utility Glove - Grain Pigskin? Tell us your thoughts.

Soooo disappointed
January 14, 2011
After reading the reviews I couldn't wait to get these gloves. I've been searching for years for a pair of work gloves that would allow me to be dexterous and keep my fingers warm. I live in KY which isn't the Arctic and I'm sorry to report that my fingers absolutely froze while doing my barn chores. :-( I walked my dogs in about 25 degrees yesterday and my fingers were really cold even then. I guess my quest will continue...
Pros: Build quality, Cons: Low performance, are not warmDid you recently buy the Carhartt Insulated Utility Glove - Grain Pigskin? Write a review.

I found these gloves to be too stiff to work in, could not bend and use my fingers.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Cons: too stiffGreat fitting for small hands

I bought these as I tried a pair on that belonged to a friend. I have small hands and most size small women's gloves have an awkward extra half inch or so that goes beyond my fingers. This makes it hard to use them with any dexterity, especially for lined gloves. But amazingly, these gloves fit me perfectly! They are warm and comfortable and I have used them for barn chores, horseback rides and just day to day "stuff". They have stood up to the abuse I've put them to so far.

Work Glove

I'm a ship inspector, and it can get pretty cold on deck, at times. These are great for that environment, they are not overly bulky, but still manage to keep your hands very warm. I've also got a couple minor slices in mine that probably would've reached my skin in other gloves, so they offer solid protection. My only complaint is that they pretty quickly split at the seam between my thumb and forefinger. They still function just as well, but that was pretty disappointing.
Pros: Performance, Ease of use, Great valuegreat flexibility plus durability

Soft and Comfortable

These gloves are so soft and comfortable and the gel padding is great. I also love the fact that they are waterproof. They will be great for my not so nice weather trail rides on my horse!
