This coat is the first thing I put on when I go outside to walk the dogs, working outside, it protects me from the elements, I love the Sherpa Lining it's soooo cozy, It washes up great, I stand 5'6 and weigh in around 125 and the large fits me perfectly, I like how the back of the coat sits a little lower on the backside-- keeping my lower back protected and much warmer and I must say if you love pockets this coat has them---inside and out ;^)

This jacket fits well, but seems a little stiff at first. The sleeves protect great from wind and the cold. The jacket is so thick and rugged that you can't feel wind whatsoever! I have to walk 1/4 mile to my building for work and LOVE wearing this because I never feel the cold at all. I wish I had pants made of the same thing, because I'd wear them everyday on the way in. I also like the length of this jacket, because it doesn't drop down too low; sits at the waist.

My first purchase of carhartt jacket, it is so warm, I bought it mainly for using at my workplace, I work at a meat processing plant, where the temperature can run from 0 degrees to 40 degrees, this is the most warmest jacket I have ever owned, I'm 49, 5'0 tall. small fits good. Very pleased with this purchase.

This coat is very comfortable with a nice design. Pockets are in a comfortable position, and hood option is nice. For cool, not cold temps. I am 5'6, 125 lbs, broad shoulders, and the large fits nicely. Ordered one for my good friend for her birthday and she just loves it. Cute, comfy cool weather coat.

once i got the jacket i was pleased, carhart should let you know they don't ship to po boxes so i could have put in my physical address. altrec was great about upgrading and overnighting the shipment as soon as it was delivered to them. jacket was right size and perfect color. thank you so much

This jacket is very warm and quite comfortable. It also seems to be very durable. This jacket is true to size and I like the extra pockets that are inside the lining. This jacket is a true representative of Carhartt quality.

The Carhartt sierra jacket is perfect! Not stiff, many pockets,princess cut to keep the wind out, great colors and the overall look of the jacket!!!!

As someone who is tall, yet slender, I was very disappointed to discover that this jacket is on the short side regarding torso length, the short side regarding arm length, and overall bulky everywhere else. It has it's good points in that it is tough, durable, warm, and comes in appealing colors, but I believe this jacket is better suited to a smaller, more petite individual who won't end up looking like a line backer when wearing this coat.

This jacket does what it says. It fits to size. It was a little stiff at first, but then once you start to wear it it breaks in nicely. It looks good with any outfit and I have no shame in wearing this jacket. It keeps me nice and warm where I live up in Northern Arizona. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone looking for stability! Great buy!

This jacket fits very well and is very comfortable. I am very happy with my new jacket. The sizing is a little small so if you need this to fit over carhartt bibs I would suggest getting one extra size larger than normal

Great jacket, but the small was too big for my 5'4" 120lb. frame. I decided to return it and get the XS Active jacket, as it hugs my body better. I felt like this one had super shoulders which looks funny on my small frame. Really great quality jacket though. I'm sure it'd be great for a taller woman (and super warm too!)

Seriously, what a great brand! I love this jacket. First off, it's very warm and holds off light rain very well. Second, it's extremely comfortable, the interior lining is very soft and the cut is well designed. I particularly appreciate the dropped tail, and the storm cuffs are great for stopping cold drafts! Plenty of pockets inside and out make it very convenient for gadgets & gear. I have the "deep wine" version, which is pretty much as represented in the photo, very dark, with the wine color coming out nicely in sunlight.

This jacket is great for everything you do outside. I love all the pockets inside and out. I got the black because I ride a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and wear it when it's cold out and my leather just isn't enough. It truly blocks the wind and keeps me comfortable and warm. It does run a size big, but lots of room for a fleese or sweater underneath. I love it!

I just tried it on in 50F weather with a t-shirt underneath and it's so warm. I'm 5'3.5" and 125lbs but the small is too big. I usually wear a XS, but according to the sizing chart, I should be a small. I guess I should have gone with the XS in the first place but I don't mind the roominess. The black has a slight faded look like the picture and the hood is roomy. There are two interior pockets (one velcro closure and one zipper) which are great! The jacket is definitely well made and this won't be the last time I order Carhartt products. I was skeptical at first but we'll see how much wear and tear this jacket will take.

Nice color,vintage rose, fit is good and durable quality. Back seems long enough to keep out wind. Work outside in winter, A woman can't have enough Carhartt's!

I am 5'1", 115lb, ordered XS, it fits great and Vintage Rose is a nice women’s color option. This coat keeps you very warm and is comfortable to wear. The money you spend will be well worth it. I only wish I would have purchased this coat sooner.

I've been in need of a sturdy, warm jacket that I don't have to worry about getting dirty, and this Christmas gift is just the ticket. The x small fits pretty well, considering I am "petite" (5' 1", 115 lbs). Usually the sleeves and waist are too long in a regular, but this jacket is roomy without looking like it's too big for me. I also wanted a hood for those windy days. The deep wine is also a beautiful color - I've already gotten compliments on it!
