This coat was everything I wanted. warm, the right weight, and durable. I've gotten carhartt coats before, BUT it ran a little large on the size and i had to return it. I am currently getting it a size down.

I've been looking for a coat to replace a parka I have been wearing for years. Except for a hood this coat has all of the bells and whistles of the parka plus a great won't show dirt color. The only tiny complaint I would have is that it had to be broken in. It was a bit stiff and hard to zip at first. Break in time was quick enough to not be a concern.

Great winter jacket. I found the jacket very warm. It was a little bulky for my taste. I found the zipper a little difficult to operate. Overall it would make a great cold weather coat.

I love my Carhartt! It is very thick, comfortable and warm. It is virtually indestructible! Washes up very nice. I bought it to "bum" around in. It is perfect with nice deep pockets and velcro to assist in complete closure. Great for Michigan winters. I highly recommend it.

I live in Wisconsin and I bought this coat for barn chores and horseback riding. It looks almost too nice for the barn! This coat would work in almost any kind of casual setting. It has lots of great pockets, a thick cuff inside the sleeve, and a double front zip that is very handy when in the saddle. I love this coat. It's true to size and toasty warm, and has a nice womens fit. I read the reviews about the fabric being stiff, and mine was initially but it softened up within a couple of days.
