Great Vest

This is a great, practical vest that is up to the Carhartt standards. It's not a 'fashion' vest, but serves my purpose for everyday wear. It runs large. I got a small, which was too roomy. It's long, which is great - it keeps the small of my back warm and holds the body heat.

This nylon vest is of very high quality. It is made with the highest craftsmanship and will last a long time. It is lightweight and ideal for hiking or long country walks. I especially like the extra zippered pockets on the outside and on the inside of the vest. The fact that it is windproof and waterproof is a plus to keep dry in unexpected bad weather.

I love this vest! It it perfect for those winter days when a full jacket isn't necessary but a warm core a must. It has deep pockets to warm your hands in and an interior pocket too, along with a "key" pocket in front. I also like the hem draw cord, for more wind resistance. I appreciate the fact that it is longer than many vests. I have horses, so the nylon makes it easy to wipe off "horse goobers". The neck was a bit stiff when I got it but it is softening up nicely. I can't say anything bad about this vest, and Altrec had it to me in 3 days!

I like the vest

The vest can keep warm well. I chose the XS, but it is still a little larger compared with other brands. It is a nice vest, and it has many useful pockets. I will recommend it to others.

Perfect dog walking vest!

I adore this vest. It fits perfectly, is long enough to cover the butt but not bulky in any way. Cell phone pocket on outside breast area, inside pocket and plenty of room in side pockets for doggie treats and bags etc. Very warm and comfy!

Appearance is accurate to picture, i received exactly what I was expecting, true to description. Fits exactly as it should. Perfect for what I need it for rugged and durable for outdoor use.

Wanna wear it ...forever

I purchased this vest hoping that all the gunk I encounter in my daily farm chores would not stick to it. Well, true to form, no amount of hay, horse snot, cat & dog hair or other barnyard debris sticks to this fabric. I have had it for almost 4 months and I have washed it 2x pretty much because I felt I better do it; it didn't look dirty! The fabric still looks brand new. Love the placement of the pockets and really like the upper chest pocket for stashing my cellphone in. This vest is very fitted and almost snug, but it also gives. I ride horses and it keeps me warm and allows my arms to move freely and also the vest 'stays out of the way' - it's not bulky in any way. Good job Carhartt for designing such a neat vest!

The vest is heavy in ruggedness and material, but not too heavy; just quality,durable heavy. It is pleasant to wear, one feels snug and protected from the weather elements. It is somewhat stiff, but that adds to the "protective" feeling. It has two large open pockets for the hands. It has an inner pocket with a zipper that is big enough for a cell phone and other small items. It has a small outer, zippered pocket at the chest for lip balm, credit card, license, tissues etc. It is soft fleece on the inside. The outer material is like "soft-shell" ski pants. The vest is very well constructed with quality materials. It is warm. I wish that it had a bottom zipper though. The zipper is rugged.

Great vest

I bought this on sale & it has been well worth the money. Very wind proof, water resistant, & warm. I also love the extra pockets & added length to make it hip length. My only complaint is it is 'stiff'. Hoping it will relax some with continued wear.
