My favorite jacket
My boyfriend who works in the same industry as me has been raving about this jacket for weeks. We both have heavier lined duck jackets from Carhartt but those can become cumbersome and at times hard to work in. I finally caved and bought the women's version. It fits like a dream. I purchased a size larger so I can layer hoodies under and I love it. The hand socks are fantastic and keep the cold air out. My work gloves slip right over them too so no struggle to tuck the gloves in or my undershirt inside. Millions of pockets and drawstrings too! The material is black, not gray like in the photos. It's durable and comfortable at the same time. I've been searching for a breathable waterproof coat that fits over my other layers and this is it! I wear it out of work too. It's that nice looking. Oh, also it is longer in the back which I love. No breeze up the back when I bend over.

Great Jacket
The jacket quality is great and the appearance is very nice. Stay true to the size chart, they run a little big and I had to send my first one back and reorder a smaller one.

Try it you might like it!
I bought this coat with the understanding it would be light weight and more of a summer jacket. This is a very well constructed coat however a little heavier than what I was expecting. Definately a good fall, spring, winter coat. Would be great for the outdoor person.

Waterproof Carhartt, Who Knew?
It was really cold, snowy, and windy today in SW VA, and this jacket did its job. This is an excellent jacket for a serious outsdoorsy person for the following reasons: excellent material really keeps the elements out, the hood is big enough to allow room for a bulky hat if you need one, the stretchy wrist protector, zipper cover with snaps, and the velcro neck protector keep the wind out. The chin- zipper cover protects the skin from a cold zipper, the pockets are well positioned, and the zipper slips nicely and smoothly. The mesh lining allows for breathing, but horse hair gets stuck in the holes which for me is a minor drawback. I'm 5 foot 3 inches and about 115 lbs, and the small fits loosely which can be nice if you want to wear a vest on extremely cold days. To me this is a nearly perfect barn jacket. I am very happy with my purchase!

Great Waterproof Jacket
Just as described! I used it the first day I had it and it worked great in the pouring rain and it was warm since it was a cold front coming through. The tapered fit is just right as I still have plenty of room for heavier clothing underneath.

The BEST coat I've owned - hands down!!
I ended up finding this coat because I had to replace a coat that I thought could do it all but failed- I am so glad it did!! I wear this coat for barn chores, riding my bike in the rain, brush it off and wear it to town. It really is THAT great. Very durable and I've already put it to the test. Solid construction and completely comfortable. Thanks for giving me a chance to review this coat.

LOVE it!
I love this jacket! I have looked & looked for a durable, warm, comfortable, waterproof jacket that not only can withstand the elements, but also stylish and fashionable. The color is great, I love the warm part that comes out of the sleeves and connects to my hands. That's probably one of the major pluses of this jacket-don't even have to have mittens! Would DEFINITELY recommend this jacket to anyone. Unbelievable that one of the least advertised jackets is so amazing. I literally spend so many hours researching jackets and finally found this one at a local store. Ordered it online because it was much less expensive and they had my size.

Great coat
Fairly generous in sizing. Really keeps the weather out! I found it in a local store and picked out the green color. Be warned! It is NOT as pictured here. The sleeve inserts for hands are Black. And the actually color is more of a tan/green than as pictured. I like it as it is but just so future buyers know!

Great waterproof jacket
I LOVE this jacket. It is thick, durable, warm, waterproof, and fits great. The hood stays on my head no matter what the wind is doing and I love the fact that it has sleeves that go over my hands so the wind can't get in the coat. This is my favorite coat now.
