Sturdy but very heavy
I ordered this paddle along with a lighter model for whom ever is paddling up front, normally my 110 pound girlfriend. The large size takes a lot of force to move but it has no problem displacing a lot of water and moving the boat. Overall I would recommend it.

Big blade hooks up
This paddle is very sturdy,and looks like it wold last a lifetime.The big blade really grabs the water.In windy conditions it has a clear advantage over standard size paddles. Only drawback is extra weight.
