Perfect for beginners and intermediates, or anyone looking for a solid back-up paddle. Glass-filled 7" x 17.5" polypropylene blades for durability, fiberglass shaft for strength and flexibility. Blade feather can be set at 0 or 60, left- or right-hand control. Two-piece construction for easy storage.

I took this paddle out the first time with my Necky Zoar and wissshed along with a silent smooth ride, Just a joy to use and feels great in your hands. You will experiance a silent water entry and flows well through the stroke.

Unless you're competing or making serious distance, a better paddle isn't worth the money. Not much difference in the performance of this one and the $200+ paddles. Save your money and have fun.

Had a Carlisle Day Tripper (Aluminum, 240 cm) but returned it and bought the RS Magic (also 240 cm) instead. The Magic is a far superior paddle with a tighter fit, better grip, better drip rings, and a more stable feel. I use the paddle in a sit-on-top kayak rigged out for fishing and have taken it on a couple of outings so far with no problems. I like the ability to change blade angles, and I appreciate the balance and feel of this paddle. There are a lot more expensive paddles out there, but the RS Magic is a very nice, all-around paddle for the money.

I decided to buy the Carlisle RS Magic because I needed a 240cm fiberglass paddle. I have used it now a total of 20 hours or so and enjoy the light weight of the fiberglass in conjunction with the cost. Over all it is great kayak paddle that I will keep for some time. Seems lighter than my wive's Harmony fiberglass paddle.

I am just a beginer but I tried a handful of paddles before buying this one. It's lightweight strong and is pretty inexpensive for a fiberglass paddle a great buy!

I brought this paddle because of the reviews but I found that it's just above average and not more. I wish the finish was tighter. But I do like the weight.
