I used this shoe in a fast food environment where the footing is unpredictable. After 2 weeks, I have not had one issue with slipping even on wet and smooth floors. This was by far the most important feature for me because so many shoes that claim to be "non-slip" don't perform to the standard. The rest of the features, such as the steel toe and electrical hazard protection were more of just a bonus for me. I like the fit, but it does run a bit longer than other shoes I've purchased at this size with normal width. I just use thicker sock to compensate for this and it works out fine. The insole support was also on par with what I expected from a work shoe. I was having back problems from my previous shoes. The round strings that come standard on the shoe are a little slick, so I definitely recommend a double knot for any of those who don't normally use one.

I have had multiple pairs and they all have lasted along time due to the elements out side and the demand i put on them . i am a garbage man in florida and the hot pavement puts the soles thru a true test ,and the rainy season has no effect on the shell and would recommend the shoes even to my enimies thanks altrec for supply a top quality product ,oh yeah thanks caterpiller.
