This is the second pair of CAT Ridgemonts I have owned. I wanted a low cut oxford style shoe for work in my machine shop. These things are great! Although I went with the soft toe version, they have done a really good job protecting my feet from sharp metal to welding slag. They were the most comfortable shoe I have owned and the new pair felt like the old pair as soon as I put them on. I still have the original pair for messy jobs but wanted another pair that weren't so beat-up and paint spattered. I'd recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a good quality work shoe in a low cut style. Great quality at a very reasonable price.

Great shoe, I like the stiffer sole, probably becauseI stand on ladders a lot and it really saves the bottom of my feet. I put these shoes to a lot of abuse and they hold together great!

Very comfortable, great fit. I have 2 pairs of these and wear them to work every day. Quality shoe that I think will last a long time.

I work in a very harsh environment and this shoes are excellent, what I like the most is that is sleep resistant and very comfortable also.
