Durable oiled full grain Nubuck leather uppers lock out water and Climasphere™ sock liners and a nylon mesh lining give soft cushioned insulation that wicks moisture and breathes for comfort in any climate. Goodyear welt construction provides a strong breathable handsome connection of the leather uppers to the slip resistant rubber outsole with a heavy duty tread pattern that grips uneven slick surfaces like a mountain goat. Good solid shoe

Bought these shoes for my husband and he likes them a lot. They are a good solid shoe that he thinks is comfortable and true to size. (He wears an 11 regular.) It's not a steel toe, which he would prefer, but overall it's a good workboot!

I walk around in the house for about 2 minutes and had to take them off. The shoes were not too tight or too loose. The back of my heel felt like it was rubbing on some kind off hard surfaces. It felt like I had no socks on. I returned it right away, so there really isn't much more i can say about the shoe.

I work in excavation construction and good foot ware is essential. This particular boot has filled the bill for me for many years. The fit of the Boot from one pair to the next is repetitive from one purchase to the next. The quality is great as well as I have never had a separation in any of the 6 to pairs I've owned over the years. Never had to return a boot for any reason. Thanks Caterpillar for the great value. Nice Looking Boots

The CAT boot is a nice looking boot for the guy who drives to his office in his pickup truck; no field work. The leather upper apparently does not include the pleather tongue (suede looking plastic); looks like it'll crack and peel off the backing in a few months. Also the boot is a cold boot; e.g. on my Harley these boots allow my feet to get cold when cold out (note that none of my other boots allow this). I suspect I would also have an issue in rain. My opinion that the leather stain is already rubbing off after a couple weeks of use. Excellent boot to put on your shelf as decoration.
