I looked for six months or more for a shoe to "fit the bill" and so far this one does. It is comfortable, attractive and provides nice support. I'm a city arborist & always on my feet, demand a lot from my shoes... this one is working!

i bought a pair of these in black at a local thrift store for work for $5! i wear them every day. They are by far the best shoes i have had for work, are very durable, very comfortable & fit well. i had to do some searching, but finally found them! i plan on buying a couple additional pair, for both work & leisure. i love these shoes!
Best Shoes I Have Ever Owned!

These are (simply put) the best all-around shoes I have ever owned. I had a pair in the brown for over six years, with four years of daily wear (walking several miles every day), and two years of lighter wear mixed with hard, woodcutting wear. There was no other shoe in my mind to replace these than another pair. This time I opted for the black to better match my wardrobe. I was a little afraid that this fit would not be as brilliant as my original pair (for companies are constantly changing their manufacturing processes and product designs). The first day, there was slight rubbing on my pinky toe by part of the shoes, but by the second day, they were as wonderfully comfortable as a perfectly broken in pair. Also, these shoes are accommodating enough for a wide foot that I did not have to purchase the larger size I normally do for my feet. Highly recommend for finicky feet and people who need a sturdy shoe.
