I bought these sandals just before leaving for the galapagos. They were the perfect blend of comfort and stability for the trails there, which ranged from flat, manicured paths to rugged lava. They aren't quite as convenient as flip flops, but the added stability and security well make up for it.Pros: Great design, Performance

I absolutely love my Chaco Hipthong sandals. They are extremely comfortable and have a great value! I am at college, and these are perfect for walking around our massive campus. I am also going to Wales this summer, and I cant wait to use them there. I wear a size 14 shoe, and these fit perfectly. No need to guess! I am extremely pleased with these Chacos!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
These are great.

I like them a lot. Several friends of mine have them, and have nothing but good things to say about them. They are great for just about anything. They are easy to take on and off, and the strap system adjust to exactly what ones foot is like.
Heavy and wouldn't stay on my feet

I really wanted these shoes to work out... but they were extremely bulky and heavy for sandal type shoes, and they hipthong straps wouldn't hold my feet in.
Super hybrid version of a flip flop.

This shoe not only allows the coolness and looseness of a flip flop but also the ability strap in down and wear it more like a sandal. My first pair of Chacos and I am impressed with the support, I hope they last.
Love the thong!

Love the fit and conforming comfort of the Hipster. I find that I am slipping into them every day. Most stable flip flop available, and with the awesome Chaco footbed, I feel they were custome made for me!
Good Look, Good Performance

This is my first Chaco purchase. Impressed by the sole that I can hike and play in the river. Bought the shoe for water shoe but wanted casual look to wear around town as well. Happy with both. Because the shoe doesn't have a back strap, they are not extremely stable in water but good enough. The only downside is they are not sold in half sizes. I typically wear a 9.5 and ordered the 9. I'm not sure about how the 10 would fit but I can make the 9 work. A little tight though. I would recommend.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Cons: no half sizes

Not impressed with the Hipthong wont stay on!!!

I loved the way that they looked I thought that they would be perfect for hiking, walking, and most summer activities. They kept slipping off of my heel and I would have to stop walking and re-adjust the strap and then they would slip off again. I bought some Keens Newports H2 instead when I returned the Chaco hipthongs.
Buy them, you'll love them!

This is my second pair of hip thongs, my fist pair was destroyed by a little dog that ate the straps off. They were about a year old with heavy use and showed very little wear. I was heart broken. This pair is a replacement and I am just as happy with the new pair after two weeks of wear. The fit is spot on for me. I wear a 9.5 in most shoes and a 10 in nike, etc. I purchased the size 10s and they are perfect. Great security (stays on my foot but is still easy on /off), support and comfort! Buy them, you'll love them.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: dogs may eat the straps!
My everyday shoe--superb!

I'm fortunate enough to be able to wear Chacos to work most of the time--I wear them just about every day, eight or so months out of the year. My last pair was 7 or 8 years old and I consider the fact that they last so long to be an environmental advantage--not to mention how comfortable and versatile they are. When they bury me, I'll no doubt have the distinctive Chaco tan lines on my feet.
great comfort and stylin'

I recently purchased these Chaco's as my first pair. I had heard from several friends that they are very comfortable and they were right! These slip on sandals have excellent arch support - much more than average sandals, and are built to last. A great purchase.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: Cost
