Chaco Women's ZX/1 Sandal

A variation on their classic Z/1 model, the Chaco ZX/1 sandal offers two narrow straps in place of the single, wide strap. Beyond offering a stylish alternative, this basket weave option allows for an even more customized fit. Just like the single strap models, the dual narrow straps on the Chaco ZX/1 sandal are threaded underneath the foot as continuous strands so they can be adjusted tighter or looser, whatever your preference. Instead of adjusting one wide strap that may run right over a spot that doesn't feel right for your foot's unique shape, the soft, twin straps can be manipulated to split around the funky spot, with one strand tighter than the other. In addition to the wide-ranging adjustability, the Chaco ZX/1 women's sandal offers all the great features found on Chaco's other performance models. The BioCentric™ footbed contour provides healthy support, a design achievement that carries the seal of acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association. Offering forgiving yet firm midsole support, Chaco now uses polyurethane, thus cutting the weight by up to 25% when compared to previous Chaco midsoles. And last but certainly not least, a Vibram® Unaweep outsole grips the topography, whether crossing a fast moving river or strolling down a sidewalk.

Great shoes and great customer support!
I have two pairs of chacos that I wear everywhere. They are perfect for runners after a long run or race. My husband has had his for 12+ years and they still look brand new and don't smell like other sandals do after repeated use. Why Chaco? My dog ate the webbing off my $90 pair a week after I got them. No worries. I sent them directly to Chaco and they rewebbed them and had them back to me within the week for a small fee. Love their customer support!

comfy versatle and stylish
I wore these all summer, sometimes even to work! They have great arch support and are very comfortable. I think the double basket weave straps hold your feet better than the traditional Chaco sandals--they also gave me less blisters. The basket weave also gives them more style.

Just what the doctor ordered!
Six months ago I had a severe foot injury. I tore my lis franc ligament and fractured the foot in three places. The ligament takes about a year to heal. Six months later I am off crutches and finished with therapy. One of the most difficult parts of recovery has been trying to find shoes I can walk in. These are the ONLY sandals I have found that offer me the support I need to get through the day without being in total pain. Other sandals had sufficient support in the sole, but I needed something that secured the foot from the top...these were perfect!

They're Great!
I live in Chacos during the summer. They are perfect for hiking, getting around town, even backpacking. They conform to your feet for great comfort. If you are deciding between the z1 vs the z2, I recommend the z1 the z2 strangles your big toe.

Cool sandal..
I bought this pair for my colleague, and she loves them. First time wearing them, it is little bit tricky to adjust the straps, but once figuring out, they snuggly wrap around the feet. They also has great outsoles for wearing many years to come. Overall, comfy and well made sandals.
