A variation on their classic Z/1 model, the Chaco ZX/1 sandal offers two narrow straps in place of the single, wide strap. Beyond offering a stylish alternative, this basket weave option allows for an even more customized fit. Just like the single strap models, the dual narrow straps on the Chaco ZX/1 sandal are threaded underneath the foot as continuous strands so they can be adjusted tighter or looser, whatever your preference. Instead of adjusting one wide strap that may run right over a spot that doesn't feel right for your foot's unique shape, the soft, twin straps can be manipulated to split around the funky spot, with one strand tighter than the other. In addition to the wide-ranging adjustability, the Chaco ZX/1 women's sandal offers all the great features found on Chaco's other performance models. The BioCentric™ footbed contour provides healthy support, a design achievement that carries the seal of acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association. Offering forgiving yet firm midsole support, Chaco now uses polyurethane, thus cutting the weight by up to 25% when compared to previous Chaco midsoles. And last but certainly not least, a Vibram® Unaweep outsole grips the topography, whether crossing a fast moving river or strolling down a sidewalk.
