Petzl Sarken SL Crampon with SideLock Binding:
Designed specifically for mountaineering, Petzl's Sarken SL is what you need to navigate technically challenging gullies, couloirs and broad, steep expanses of mixed terrain. The two front points feature a serrated and tapered profile that penetrates ice with reliable holding power. Look closely at the two points back and you'll notice that each has a notched point to assist with toeholds without compromising the ten-point walking configuration. Adjusting the Petzl Sarken SL is intuitive and doesn't require any extra tools or special procedures so you can make changes in remote locations without worries. This wire lever design features Petzl's SideLock binding that locks firmly and quickly into climbing and mountaineering boots with toe and heel welts.
