Good deal!
My son needed an extra jacket and this was a great deal on Altrec. The only issue is the lining does not stay put and is always tangling up in the jacket. Overall a good, warm jacket

Great coat for cold days in the Deep South
My son got this coat from his grandmother for Christmas, and he was excited for a 9 year-old boy getting a coat for Christmas. Guess these things are more exciting than when I was his age. Anyway... The coat looks great, colors are vivid the design is clean. We bought this one a little bigger than he is so it would last, but even a size too big doesn't look bad on him. It is shaped nicely, not puffy like some of the cheaper jackets you'd see in regular clothing stores. He really likes the feel of the fleece underneath, and I'm sure it's going to look great once he can shed the outer shell. The only thing he has trouble with is keeping the fleece in the sleeve when he puts it on. But, I think that's just him not knowing how to put it on correctly. I'm sure he'll get the hang of it. Overall...very pleased with this purchase, and would recommend it highly.

Great jacket!
I bought this jacket for my 13 year old son. He is tall (5'8")and thin and wanted a warm, but not too bulky, jacket. This parka fits the bill. We ordered the size 18/20 in grout, it's a nice fit and roomy enough that he should get some use out of it next year. Zip out liner and detachable hood are an added bonus.

Great quality
I bought the red one in a size 8 for my nine year old son, he's a bit on the small side and his current jacket is a size 6 in a different brand. The size 6 still fits him well but I wanted to buy a larger size so he could grow into it. The quality is great but this new jacket in an 8 appears to be pretty much the same size as the size 6. He hasn't tried it on yet since its a gift so I'm not sure about the fit but overall I'd say its a great purchase.

Good fit, but the inner feels kind of thin.
We bought the Bugaboo Parka in Intense Red. The color and fit are certainly very pleasing. The only real concern is if the inner, which feels kind of thin, will stand up to an Iowa winter.
