Low Rise Doesn't Work for Me

I liked the overall look of these pants but the fit was awful in the rise--the distance from the crotch to the waist. The rise was about 2/3 of the normal rise of pants I have and they felt like they might slip down at an inopportune time. Also the inseam length was a bit less than advertised--I got the 32" and it seemed more like 30"-31" than 32". I wanted to like these pants--good number, positioning and arrangement of pockets and light-weight fabric would have been perfect for my purposes. The fit, however, just wouldn't work and I returned them.

Quick Dry & Lightweight

I regularly buy these pants for my boys. They love the fact that they are convertible and dry quickly when they get wet when camping or hiking. I think the pants run small and usually order a size up. I have also noticed that the bottoms of the pants (not shorts) have a tendency to fray at the bottom; however, they do not rip (several trips through briars to prove that). Overall, they are great and last until the my kids outgrow them. They are also my older son's favorite pants for school as it is often chilly in the morning, but warms up during the day.

My 11 y/o son refuses regular long pants (no real reasons), so these convertible pants are perfect for him. I appreciate how rugged they are, as well as quick-drying.

on east coast so shipping was a bit slow prob cause you have only one distribution center. customer service was helpful as was package tracking.

great pants, but too small

bought a size 14 boys for my daughter who typically wears this size in Gap or Old Navy. These were cut much more narrow in the waist and especially hips and were too tight. Not sure if the 16 would work. Had trouble finding sizing chart.

These pants are lightweight, but durable. They are excellent for use as Boy Scout pants and can obviously be worn year round. The style and fit is much better than typical Boy Scout pants.

These pants have been perfect for this years unrelenting mosquitoes...whether hiking or fishing or just playing. Easy to convert to shorts, and zipping the legs back on is a snap. I recommend them highly. It was easy to track the package once sent!
