The Columbia Bugaboo Stryker... Pros: - Solidly built pack > Construction material is rugged - Waterproof so far. - Vertical ski carry system > works well, keeping skis flush with your body. - Thin profile while worn And the Cons... - Layout > However, overall pack layout and usability was not well-thought out. Accessing the pack's main compartment is cumbersome. It can only be accessed from the reverse position - from the back where the shoulder straps are attached - and it cannot be opened (even by another person) when being worn. Even worse, the shoulder straps are directly in the way of the main compartment zipper. - Bulkiness > From the outside, the pack looks very large (maybe even bulky) and it is quite long, vertically (fairly tall pack). - Compartment Size > Once inside the pack, the compartment size is a bit disappointing. Keep in mind this is a very thin pack.Pros: Build quality, Cons: Bad design

This is probably a great bag, if you want to carry some stuff with you on the slopes and have a need to carry your skis on the slopes as well. There are many small compartments inside. However, if you need to carry any large amount of stuff and access it quickly, this isn't the bag for you. I intended to use it to carry my gear to the mountain (which is just snow pants, a sweatshirt, thermals, mittens, and two sets of goggles) and I couldn't easily fit everything. Further, the large pocket (there is a large and a small main pocket) is behind the shoulder straps, not on the front of the bag.Pros: Build quality, Cons: Bad design
