Love these jackets for my girls...
November 20, 2011
We researched these and other jackets extensively. These jackets are warm without the bulk and have lots of great features like a powder skirt and cuffs in the sleeves for skiing and other winter fun. The zip-out liner makes them versatile as fall or spring jackets as well. They seem well-made.Pros: Great design, Performance

I bought this Columbia Sportswear Girl's Bugaboo Tech Parka for my first grade daughter who is 7years old now. She is little bigger than the other her friend, so this jacket fits tight. But it is very comfortable and warm. She wears it for skiing and she was very satisfied. Her inner clothes did not get wet. I recommed this highly.Pros: Performance
good coat, nice cut

My very particular 11 year old daughter wears this coat. She is 5'1", weighs 85lbs, and wears size 14-16. She has a slim, athletic build with broad shoulders, and it fits well without bulk in the torso. She rides horses, so we wanted a 3 in 1 so she could shed layers as she warmed up. We needed a non-fleece liner so she would not be a magnet for horse hair during spring shedding. All this has been fine for her. She loves the heliotrope purple, but wishes the inner coat was the same color. Since the inner is pale periwinkle, it usually looks dirty since she works at a barn. She wishes the inner coat had polyfill like her old Columbia Interchange 3 in 1 because it kept her as warm as both the inner and outer together of this Bugaboo. Overall it is a nice coat, though we'll continue to look for a polyfill inner coat next time.Pros: Great design, Build quality

Bought a pair of these jackets to take my twins skiing up at Mt. Hood - wonderful quality, as you would expect from Columbia. Hood has a brim, bottom of jacket has a snow skirt, so completely covers child. Liner is very pretty and functional. Fit perfect to size. Kids stayed warm through three days of lessons and snowplay. This is the third pair of Columbia ski jackets we have bought and all have held up well. Paired this with the Little Girl's Peak Victory Bib, perfect!Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Performance
