Great winter jacket
October 29, 2012

I was looking for a good durable jacket for the winter weather in Germany that wasn't too bulky. I found it in this jacket. It keeps me warm no matter what. The inner lining works so well, I find myself warm in even the deepest snow. Fantastic jacket theat I would suggest to anyone. And lots of pocket room for anything I need to take with me.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, so warm!, Cons: still looking

Nice jacket
March 12, 2012

Bought this jacket to ski out west. When I received it I thought it was too thin to be warm at all. It ended up being pretty warm. If you wear an insulating mid layer it is vary warm due to it being totally waterproof. I skied in the west in one of the worst storms all season and stayed totally dry. I wish it had another chest pocket but I was able to make due. Zippers and pulls seem very durable and operate smoothly. I recommend this jacket especially if staying dry is important to you. It would also make a good spring or fall rain jacket.

Pros: Build quality, Performance, waterproof
Comfort: 4 / 5

Pretty much perfect!
January 09, 2013

Got this for my fiance for Christmas and he loves it! He was so surprised how warm and dry this kept him with just one layer under the jacket. The reflective living for body heat is a must on this shell and holds up to it's hype! I didn't doc any stars, but took away from the comfort level. I wish it was a little more slim fitting... he's 6'2" 190lbs and we found this just a tad "wide" but we cinched her down and are good to go!

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

The jacket fits snug through the hips. It is definitely water/windproof, but it is not very warm- maybe I need to add an extra layer. The good thing is that this thing is really waterproof, so with the right combo underneath this jacket will do very well.

Pros: Ease of use, cost, Cons: warmth
