Short inseam, fit small

I usually buy XXL size in Columbia shorts. I decided to go with the 2X big size because the customer service person said they are usually bigger in the seat and thigh area. The 2X fit more like XL. I was really surprised. The inseam is really short too. It doesn't say what the inseam length is in the description on the Big/Tall version of the shorts. I have since noticed that it says the inseam is 5" if you look at the regular version of these shorts. Who wears shorts with a 5" inseam???

The quality is excellent, size 3Xl fits me great. I am 5' 10" and 250lb. I love the looks of these shorts and will use when sailing.

This is my second pair of half moon shorts, the first pair were just worn out after 5 years and numerous deep sea fishing trips. the new pair are the same quality and fit and should provide good use on my trip to the Abacos in the Bahamas this week
