Blood and Guts great shirt
August 01, 2012
The first time I wore this shirt was a 95 degree baseball game. It breathed well, I was comfortable the entire day and protected by the SPF50 fabric. Good fit, long enough sleeves, I'm 6-1, 225 lb. I buy a 37 inch sleeve when I can find them. The XL was long enough without being baggy in the chest. Can't wait to get out fishing in this shirt this weekend. I'm ordering another one now.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value

Good quality, very light, but far more larger than the size it supposed to be. I may order another one for a smaller size.

Bought just one white shirt to see if was really worth the cost. I use it for motorcycle riding, fishing, sailing, kayaking, and everyday wear in Alabama summer time temperatures. It is not exactly like wearing a "cool breeze" but it truly is the coolest, most comfortable shirt I own. No contact with blood and guts yet. However, body oils and grime around the collar and cuffs wash right off without special cleansers and that is good news. The SPF50 rating appears to work in the Alabama sun. Although not what I expected, the shirt material is not at all uncomfortable when the wearer is perspiring and the material appears to facilitate evaporation which keeps you as cool and dry as possible. When I can locate the right colors I plan to buy two more. Great product.Pros: Performance

Great shirt, I like this style because it has fewer pockets than some other Columbia shirts. I am not a fisherman. I use this shirt for boating and traveling. Well vented as other Columbia shirts and high SPF for sun protection.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Cons: Cost
Excellent outdoor and casual wear shirt

I've been wearing the various iterations of the Columbia sun-blocking long-sleeve shirts hiking, desert mountain biking and for casual wear around town for about five years now. They've all been excellent quality, this is the best one yet though for versatility and keeping it's ventilation working even while wearing a backpack or hydration pack. Finally there's enough stiffness in the cuffs that they'll stay rolled and secured with the built-in straps. Very wrinkle-resistant, quick-drying and good-looking shirt.
