I was so excited to have found a vest my father could wear around his cold house. It is the perfect color and very soft. I assume it would be warm. The vest is so short up his back that he couldn't stay warm in this. I may try the next size but that may only change the around the body not the height of the body.

I think its a great quality product. Its comfortable and fits great. It might not be too warm for winter but a great item for weather between 45 to 65.

I just received the cathedral vest and I love it! I'm a smaller guy and sometimes it is hard to find a vest that doesn't feel huge and baggy. This vest fits great! The material is very comfortable and the construction is sound. I also really like the Navy color! It isn't too bright and is more versatile that I was expecting. I would recommend this vest! I will probably look to purchase another one in the near future!

I purchased this vest for my brother. He wears it for both his private and work. He says its warm enough and he doesn't need any inner clothes such as sweater. Just wearing this and a shirt makes him comfortable both in house and office. As I expected it a bit larger, so I bought one size smaller and that was the right size. When I saw him in the vest, he looked cool enough and felt I bought the right stuff for him.

This was a gift for my boyfriend over the holidays. He wears this vest to the gym, believe it or not! He likes to keep his core warm and his arms uncovered (he wears a short sleeve shirt underneath). Also, the pockets are a feature he has to have. The fit was perfect - he is a little heavier around the waist right now, and 5'8. His others have fit him in a Large so I had hoped the same would be true here - and it was true. This vest is of good quality and I love the texture (soft, not rough like some). He loves the vest and wears it often! I am very happy with the quality that we received for the price that was paid.

I bought two, tusk and Columbia blue, my sons for Christmas present . They loved them. The vests are light, good quality and fit great. Colours are better than in picture and zippers run well. My husband also liked, so I will buy one to him soon.

I wear this vest at the office in the winter. It's thin and light and provides the right amount of warmth when I'm working on the computer. I have run it through the washer/dryer many times and it still looked the same. It doesn't stand up to the elements like the higher quality fleeces but it's a good value.

Stay away from Columbia Cathedral Peak Vests. There is a good color selection but the quality is poor. The material is thin, the collar is not tailored well, the fit was poor and oh yes the zipper was sticky right out of the bag. I am not a hardcore outdoor person- just like to wear a good vest which I do most of the winter.

There are vests that are definitely better for hard core outdoor activities, but for the price that you pay this is a fantastic buy! Its thin and light, but does warm you up nicely. Something to have with you in your car or when you travel. No extras, but good, solid quality.

I had purchased a Cathedral Peak vest months ago in a light color. It was very satisfactory so when I saw it on sale, I ordered its mate in black. They pack light and are great with a windbreaker for winter travel.

The "dirt" color is much nicer than pictured, and the fit is superb. I docked a star for two reasons: 1) the collar seems too large when you wear it up, and 2) the zippers on the pockets "ring" like little bells when you walk - no noticeable until you walk into a quiet room.

I love the fleece vest as a keep warm accessory. My only negative on this is I wish the collar were a bit smaller, and the vet was a bit more fitted. But for the money, it's a very functional piece of clothing.
