No need to decide how many layers to bring with you for your weekend in Mammoth when you bring the Columbia Men's Conundrum Valley Parka. This ski jacket offers 3-in-1 versatility to keep you warm, dry and comfy no matter how the weather changes from what the report predicted before you left. An exterior shell jacket is made from durable nylon twill with an Omni-Tech™ coating to make it waterproof and breathable. The optional liner fleece jacket zips in for a warm mid layer or keeps you cozy at the lodge. A storm hood and powder skirt keep the snow out as you're slicing and dicing the freshies or on warmer groomer days you can leave the fleece jacket in your locker and unzip the underarm vents to help shed excess heat. This winter parka has a drop tail for extra coverage and articulated elbows to help reduce bulk and give you plenty of room to move. Keep goggles, gloves and iPod secure in the multiple pockets when you take a break for lunch at the base lodge. Simple, classic style and quality craftsmanship make the Columbia Conundrum Valley Parka for men a favorite season after season.

November 02, 2011

My husband loved it! He was in need of a new winter coat and I found this one. It's lightweight and he said it's actually very warm. So he thought I made a great pick.

Awesome jacket
December 03, 2011

We actually found this jacket in the outlet mall where it was the one we really liked except that it wasn't available in XL anymore. Once it got home, we ordered it from Altrec - even lower price than the Outlet mall - and then we looked a bit closer at it. We were pleasantly surprised about the quality. The velcro straps that hold on the hood are two-sided and sandwiched so that will be very unlikely that they get ripped out. There is a zipper under the arms that you can open for additional venting. It also provides a bit more room for your upper body and arms in case you put on a heavy sweater underneath. The jacket feels very warm because it is made with several layers. It has an inner fleece jacket that actually can come out but is still securerly attached. It also features lots of zippered pockets, including one that seems designed to keep your cellphone handy. Obviously, the hood can be removed if it will be sunny all day.

another great product from Columbia
December 25, 2011

Purchased this for my 17 yr old son. He was disappointed that the weather wasn't colder so he could wear both pieces on Christmas day. He was excited to find that the shell performed well in the rain. He chose this style of Columbia 3 in 1 because the XL did not make him look like he was wearing his dad's firefighter bunker coat. This is an excellent purchase. Would highly recommend this 3 in 1.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
