the pants are great ..once they break in the move with u not against u. noise at first but after a few your good to go. got two pairs and i think i may move in for the third color..

My new Columbia Cool Creek pants will pack great on an upcoming trip for me. Like all Columbia goods, this item is well made and the 32W x 30L size fits me perfectly! I also like the fact that these pants repel liquids, have some stretch to the fabric, and are light weight to pack. I love this pair in the color Tusk; I have also ordered another pair in Coal.

I got a pair of (2011 Peat Moss) Cool Creek Pants (32x30) through another vendor. They fit perfectly, but the crotch seam popped while I sat cross-legged. 'Searched online, found this item, and although I dig the Coal color, the cut is completely different and too too too baggy for me. (If you like the 'new-school' jibby look then no prob here). -I prefer crisper lines or something, so no go. *The shame is: this is the third pair of pants I got from Altrec that have been over-sized. I tried Columbia Cyclo-Cross 30x30, & a Lowe Alpine soft shell 30x30; those were simply too long for me but fit my taller friend perfectly. Hey Columbia: Make the Cool Creek in this color w/ a trim cut.

Columbia's Cool Creek pants are just that, COOL!! Great fit, 30" inseam is sometimes hard to find in other brands and stretch fabric makes for a comfortable pant at an excellent price.

Great pants, Extremely comfortable. Easy stretch at the knee with pockets in all the right places. The nylon fabric should last for a very long time. Will probably by another pair of a different color next month
