Great jacket with new technology
March 12, 2012

So i got this jacket mainly because it claims to keep one very warm without the need for the extra padding. A very useful feature in crowded subways and the like. The interior of the jacket looks like black spotted aluminum foil. Well, nicer than aluminum foil but same color. I think the material does work because the jacket keeps me warm even though when you first get it, it seems like it is soo light. It has a tight fit but still i could wear a thin hoodie underneath ( and im on the chubby side, 5'6, and, 180 pounds). The only draw back so far is the lack of a hood, but that can be resolved easily. The material seem good, though i have seen a few lose strands here and there but nothing major. Whatever the material that the inside collar is made out of does tend to attract a bit of lint and such but nothing major really. I recommend this jacket though i would prefer people don't buy it so i remain more unique lol

Pros: Performance, Ease of use, Great value, slim profile, Cons: lack of hood

Great layering jacket
October 24, 2011

I purchased this jacket for use while ice fishing this winter. So far I have only have a chance to wear it out one evening when it was about 35 degrees, but I was almost too hot with a t shirt under it. Can't wait to get on the ice!

Ultra warm
January 28, 2012

Bought my 1st new winter jacket in over 10 years on a Tuesday and received it Thursday night. The family headed to Mt Hood to sled, play, and ski. This jacket is WARM. The sleeves are a little long or my arms are short. I stayed dry while sledding and building snowmen. Night skiing was windy and snowy. Once again I was WARM. So far I am happy with it and the service I got from Altrec.

Great Jacket!
July 15, 2012

I've used this jacket on outings to Yosemite and the Eastern Sierras. Zippers work smooth with no snags. The hand pockets are roomy. Easily fit my gloves, keys, small camera, head lamp, etc. Good size chest pocket too. Packs down very small, takes up very little room in your pack. The fit is true to size. I am 6'2" 255lbs. with a large chest. I purchased an XL. It is a little snug through the chest but not uncomfortably so. Sleeves were the right length. Overall length was good. Nice looking, comfortable, and very very warm. The reflective inside really works. All and all a great jacket for the price. I highly recommend it.

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value
