Good Solid Performance

Good jacket for season changeover due to layering capability. Fit is good, color is good, like the way it feels. Too bulky for air travel. Sorry I am not writing any more
Pros: Great design, Performance, Great valueGreat Jacket

Good looking jacket and will keep me warm. Inner lining is a bit snug but I think it is supposed to be. I'm going up to Alaska and will test the item up there.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueFebruary 01, 2012
this jacket is very warm. it keeps the water and wind out. i normally wear a medium so that is what i ordered and it is a tight fit, but that makes it extra warn. i would recommend this to anyone that is in cold weather.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valuesuper warm winter jacket

I come from a tropical country so I have zero tolerance to cold weather. And this jacket is my primary survival kit :) It seems that those little silver dots are the secret to keep us warmer. Just like any Columbia product, it is pricey but worth every penny. This jacket is light and the lines of this jacket are flattering. Moreover, the shipping was quick. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for super warm winter jacket!
Pros: Great design, Performance, Great valueA great value for a 3-in-1 system

Let me first qualify this review by saying that I have a history of buying Columbia gear...it's not indestructible, but I find that by the time I've had it long enough for some aspect of it to fail, I'm usually ready for a new one anyway. I really like this coat...I really had two requirements that led me to it: 1) I really wanted to decent looking green jacket, and 2) I wanted a 3-in-1 setup (removable liner that can be worn on its own). Though the liner in this jacket is thinner than a full fleece liner, it's shockingly warm. The liner + shell keeps you very toasty at temps below 40 F, and above 50 F you would really be way too warm to wear both. The construction is solid, it has a very durable feel. The few chances I've had to test the waterproofing have been very positive so far. The pockets are in all the right places. Cons for me were that for me a Medium is the right size...but the waist of the coat is a little restrictive in this size. I also wish the front zipper was 2-way (able to unzip a zipped coat up from the bottom).
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value
