This was a xmas gift for my husband. He loves it. Is very comfortable and fits well. The site is very easy to use. Delivery is quick. I recommend altrec as a favorite in outdoor gear.

This is a great vest. I've always wanted to have one of these. Its a lot cheaper than Patagonia and the quality is unexpectedly good. I am a geologist and I work in the field most of the time. I used many other vest but this is the best that I've ever owned. Thanks Altrec.com.

fishing vest
fantastic vest for ny disability - hard to move left side -I added zipper pulls so I can cloae zippers. Awesome amount of pockets for everything I carry with me, right now it's November and quite cool on the river vest is doing a great job at keeping the chill off my upper body of course the fly casting helps too. Only objection is I don;'t know what all the pockets were designed for a use card would have been nice. Other than that i assume I will find a use for all the pockets. I would suggest getting one for any fisher for any ocasion. IT'S GREAT!!!!!!

Not versatile
I ordered thinking that I would use this as a general travel/photography vest but it is clearly made for the fly fisherman. It is well made but is not versatile so go with a dedicated travel vest if that is what you are looking for.
