Favorite Pants !
These have become my favorite pants, and I have purchased a couple of extra pair. They fit great; these Lander pants are fit leaner and they are a little heavier/thicker material than the ROC pants that I have used previously. I have ordered a couple pair of the Lander shorts as well.

great pants and service
pants fit great, better price than in retail stores and fast service. can't beat the quality and comfort of Columbia.
there are add'l pockets for utlitiy and the fit is relaxing, not too tight, not too baggy.

Awesome pants
These are very comfortable and a great alternative to jeans. They're stylish enough to wear out on the town. You can even wear them with a blazer if needed.

Really great pants
I've bought several pairs of these pants over the last few years. They're super comfortable. And they have deep pockets, which I really like, plus a zippered pocket, which sometimes comes in handy. I pretty much wear them all the time now, for work and weekends both. - They look good and they're rugged as well.
A small complaint on durability - the cuffs tend to fray more quickly than other similar pants I've had. But the comfort and styling make up for that.

Great Pants
I purchased these pants before a recent trip to Spain. The pants were to be used for hiking and general sightseeing. They were comfortable to wear for hiking and sitting on planes and trains. They looked good to wear out to dinner and visiting museums. The security pocket was especially appreciated in the crowds on the metro and at train stations.

Nice pants
I'm very pleased with thise pants. They wash well, and are comfortable all day for pretty much any kind of activity or for laying around the house. The back pockets do not fasten in any way.

Like ROC pants but better
I've loved the Columbia ROC Pants and Shorts for years, particularly for the side leg pocket which fits a thin cell phone. The Lander Pants and Shorts are similar to ROC, but the side leg pocket is over the side seam instead of behind it. This means I don't sit on my cell phone like I used to with the ROC pants, and the pocket is now wide enough to fit a larger cell phone. Brilliant! I give both the pants and shorts plenty of abuse and they last me several seasons. I end up buying the pants with a 1 inch bigger waist then the shorts to get them to fit right, but maybe I just put on a little extra weight in the winter. :)

Columbia Lander pant
I have three pair of these pants and really love them. Extremely comfortable to wear all day in the woods or city. I don't wear them in the summer, little heavy and mainly here in Georgia I wear shorts from May-October.
I am 5'11" tall and weigh 166 lbs and wear size 34 waist 34 length. after the first was/dry they fit me better then right out of the package. I think they tend to run a little loose, size 32 waist does not leave me much room to tuck a heavier weight shirt in-too snug. Like my pants a little loose and not binding anywhere.

My husband loves the Lander Shorts so we decided to try the Lander Pants this time around. The rise seems to be a bit less than the shorts, but they still work- and, hopefully, like the shorts, they'll last forever!

columbia lander pants are very confortable and durable, I bought my pear to wear during an upcoming trip to Europe. These pants are great to travel in.

Most comfortable pants I own. Great substitute for jeans. Would highly recommend to anyone. Altrec delivered quickly and at a better price than local shops.

Nice pair of pants!
I used to wear the original ROC pants from Columbia but since they have changed I'm not pleased with the new design. The Lander pants are basic. Just what I want when I'm running around town on errands, doing touristy stuff or going into the office on casual day. They look great and will now take the place of my ROCs. Yes, they wrinkle easily after a few days - but so did my ROCs. I purchased the 35-30 Trail; you are only going to get 35 waist on-line and Altrec had the best price, the Trail color is actually Coyote Brown (for you military types) and I am uber pleased with these new pants (light-weight yet rugged).

Amazing Pants
I loved these pants, after i tried my first pair on I went i bought a couple more, the side side pocket is great, is big enough to fit my wallet since i hate having it in my back pocket, they do fit a little loose on the thighs which i don't mind but i wish they were a little bigger on the bottom, not big enough to fit around a pair of boots besides that the fabric is amazing buy them you won´t regret it.

Great look, but too big
All in all, as is usual with Columbia products, the pants were very much my style (outdoors-y with a pinch of prep), but they hung loose all around my thighs and down. The waist seemed fine, but the pants just ballooned out past that. It's a shame, because they're obviously very well made. I just wanted to wear them for more formal/business-casual type of rendezvous, and these were way too baggy to do that. And again, I don't think if I got the next smaller waist it would've fixed the problem, because the waist was just right. Columbia tends to run rather large anyway, so this is no exception.

Good deal
Good price for comfy pants.
Girlfriend tells me they are a bit baggy in the butt. And yes, they do seem to run a little big. Relaxed fit for sure.
But, I find them very nice and worth the money.

Columbia Lander Pants
I use these pants for hiking nearby trails in Boulder as well as wearing them around town. I feel comfortable wearing Columbia's Lander pants on the trail for their durability and wearing them later the same night in a nice restaurant for their stylish looks. The zippered pocket inside one of the side pockets is an excellent feature especially while traveling. I keep my wallet and other valuables inside this pocket where I know they are safe and secure.

Comfort and casual nice
Great fit, very comfortable. This is a pair of pants you could just as easily wear out to a nice dinner as to split your next cord of wood. The cell phone pocket fits an iPhone, which is a plus. Highly recommend, I'm buying a couple more pairs.

Never Disappointed
I have been wearing Columbia clothing for years, from ski gear to casual wear. So often with some manufacturers, we see diminishing quality or value and I have yet to see this characteristic with Columbia and my recent pant purchase.
Only improvement I might note would be a stronger waist snap.

New favorite pants
Very comfortable for travel. This is my second pair, first pair have proven to be durable. Appreciate being able to get my in-between waist size(35). Highly recommended.

Great Weekend Pants
If you’re like me you’ll wear these pants as dress casual for a while. But where they really shine is when you make them your weekend pants. . They’re incredibly soft and comfortable and have great pockets to hold all the things that you use during the day.
Columbia was a little overly-generous with belt loops however. If you rush while getting dressed you will defiantly miss at least one of them behind your back.

Great All-Round Pants for Casual or Action
Stumbled upon the Lander Pant at a local Dept. Store and found them to be the perfect all-round pant. When that store stopped carrying the Lander, I hunted them down at Altrec in my size and at good price. They work great as my bike-to-work pants - fall, winter, and early spring (until it's warm enough here in Wisconsin for shorts!). I prefer to wear civilian togs (vs. some lycra cycling jazz) so I can just go in and get started at work. They are sized perfect (maybe a bit large) and have just enough give and room to make cycling very easy. Despite seeming to be light weight, they wear very well - considering that they get a good working out. They seem to keep the wind out pretty well too.
I keep a couple pair in the closet when I need something neat and clean for going out. I think I have 5 pairs now... and am consider another!

Good Value
Good fit, good material, bad wrinkles. Cannot use for intended travel pants due to wrinkling. Will be a comfortable 'work' pant.

Great All around pants!
I get really good usage out of these. They are rough enough to stand up to some blue collar usage, but then look nice enough if you need to be in a nice place, looking good, like an appointment or restaurant. They tend to run a bit large in the waist, so keep in mind when ordering. The cotton is very comfortable after just a few washes.
Can't go wrong with these.

Good fit and quality compared to other brands. Like the wide variety of sizes which other sites don't have. Great price. Wish they weren't on backorder and had to wait two weeks for them to come in.

Awesome casual pants
I wear these around the house and for everyday purposes. They are casual pants (not formal enough for the office) that are super comfortable and look great.

great casual pant
I bought one and then order a second pair (different color) right after I received the first one! Casual style and extremely comfortable for fall temperature. Can't comment on durability yet. It did shrink a little bit after one wash but that made it fit perfectly on me so I am happy.

Great casual pants
I have found Columbia pants to be great-fitting, comfortable, and long-lasting. I am someone who hates to wear a cell phone case on his belt, and sticking the phone in a regular pocket is uncomfortable. The Lander pants have a great little cell phone pocket that solves this problem. I also feel that the waist sizes on Columbia pants are a bit generous, which keeps them from shrinking down below the stated size. This goes a long way towards keeping them comfortable for years. I find the Lander pants to be just about perfect for work & casual wear, and would recommend them to anyone looking for these attributes.

Lander Pants
Love the fit and quality always given by products from Columbia. I wear these and the ROC pants after a couple of washes they are wonderful. Can fit into the outdoors or business casual at the office. Highly recommended.

Excellent pants.
These pants seem to run large for their nominal size. However, they are comfortable, durable and the right thigh cargo pocket is perfectly sized for a smart phone. With one in every color, these are my every day pants.

Great fit, great quality, great purchase experience
These were my first purchase experience with Altrec. I need a 34 inch inseam and I have a great choice here! Pants are the same great Columbia quality and fit I've come to expect. I like them for work and outdoor events when I can't wear shorts. Highly recommend them.

Amazing pants, my new standard for casual pants
These pants get softer every time you wash & dry them, And, I like soft. I'm a senior citizen who wants to look good, be comfortable, and not spend a fortune on clothes. Pretty Darned Good Knockin' Around Pants
I have one of those 'tween-size, hard-to-fit bodies; but the 35/30 Columbia Lander pants fit me perfectly. And they are as comfortable out of the box as a pair of my old standbys. I like 'em!

Love these pants
These are a very nice alternative to the normal khaki pants I have to wear for work. I work in a distribution center and have torn up many sets of khaki's. These pants are durable and look great. Fit true to size.

I have worn ROC pants for several years and LOVED them. These new 'Landers' are not the same quality. They have poor workmanship and don't hold up, as well.

Great Traveling Pants
These pants are great for travel. The secret pocket will hide your wallet,credit cards, and money. They are very comfortable, and true to size. I have four pairs of these pants, also, Altrec is a great place to purchase these pants because they are reliable, and trustworth.

Excellent Comfort

great pant/fit on the genrous side
We ordered these in the size we thought would fit...after 3 trys:) finally ended up from 35" waist to 33". Conclusion they must run on the generous side, or my husband is shrinking!

The Lander pants are comfortable, soft and loose fitting. The color Trail is a nice darker tan. However, I prefer the fit and finish of the original ROC pants.

Came back for more.
I received my first of two pairs of 'Lander Pants' just in time to try them on a November hiking trip to Jirisan Nat. Park, S. Korea. The fit was perfect thanks to the 35" waist (34" too tight and 36" too loose). They are also true to length in the 32" inseam. These were so comfortable and functional that I ordered two more pairs upon my return. I highly recommend these pants for cooler Spring and Fall hiking, or just around town.

Great pants
Very hard to find anything in the stores in my size these days (28 waist), so I was very happy to see these in my size on altrec. I bought two pairs at a very good price, and I think I will buy more before they are gone. Very comfortable, love having the zip pocket for my phone, look great, fit great.

Special orders no problem
I ordered my pants in a 35/29--I'm on the shorter side, and it's hard to find pants in my inseam. They fit great and look great on. I would definitely buy another pair!

Great Pants!
Fit is typical Columbia, true to size. Material seemed thin initially, proved to be durable for every day and backpacking / trail wear. Surprisingly durable, in fact! Suitable more for late spring / summer wear as apposed to cooler temps. Intend to buy more colors, as I wear them often.

At Last Confortable Pants that actually fit well
Recently my company a major retailer changed our dress code excluding jeans, shorts and the like. As I began my search for non jean slacks I anticipated my problem.. Athletic build, small waist. Realizing that my best hope would be an athletic company so I ordered 2 pair of the Columbia Lander Pants, 28 waist 32 inseam. It took about a week to receive them but They are the most comfortable, best fitting casual pants in my closet. My only regret is that I could not get them in every color at the time. Great job, great product and for those of us 45 and over very active my thanks.. more 28W/32L options pleas.

Great Pants
The fit is awesome. They have a little bit of a low rise, which is what I like. I normally wear 35" but the 34" fit perfectly. Loved them so much, I bought all of the colors.
