Description

A shirt is just a shirt unless it’s the Columbia Mountain Tech II Short Sleeve Crew for men. With an Omni-Wick™ polyester fabric and UPF 15 rating the Mountain Tech II pulls sweat away from your body to keep you dry, cool, and comfortable while shielded from dangerous ultra violet rays. Some tee shirts are made for lounging, others for style, but Columbia pulled out all the stops to create a simple soft tee that can run an actual marathon and still be comfortable enough for a movie marathon. Worn on its own or as a layer this shirt will be in use constantly. With the addition of an anti-microbial finish this classic crewneck tee fights the bacteria that cause odors for a better smelling longer lasting shirt. Now you need to find another excuse not to get out and seize the day.

Perfect summer tee.
July 15, 2011

I have been searching for a well made, good looking summer tee. This is it. The fit is excellent (I am 5' 11, 150 lbs),the forward shoulder seams feel good and enhance my thin frame. The material feels very good against the skin., and the colors are vibrant .As soon as I put this tee on I knew it was the one. This tee looks good tucked in or worn over shorts or pants. They are expensive, but you can catch them on sale. So now you know why I have five of these.

Great Shirt
March 30, 2011

I love these shirt as under shirts in the winter, and as work out shirts. Look and feel great in warm weather outdoors or indoors. Light weight, great feel. Seem pretty durable and priced about right. The size runs big. I got an XL first and had to swap it for a L. I normally wear XL t shirts (6' 1" 200lbs avg build) so order accordingly.

Great Shirt but could use a little help
September 14, 2011

I own 4 of these shirts and really like them. They fit really well if you are in shape since they're more of an athletic cut. They wick moisture very well and dry quickly. the fabric is soft and feels good on your skin. The one thing I've noticed with my shirts is that they pill very quickly which makes the shirts look more worn than they actually are. I wash them on gentle in cold and hang dry them but they all have starting pilling after about 6-8 washes. the shirt is durable but I question the fabric's longevity however I still really like how this shirt fits and will most likely buy more assuming the ones I have continue to perform.

great everyday t-shirt
January 03, 2012

i am a big fan of columbia products and these shirts are a great example of their clothing. they're a little bit bigger and maybe slightly less durable than the old titanium versions, but they have a great color selection and i'm glad i bought four different colors because i wear them frequently. out for a hike or a day at the office, a great overall value.

Versatile, well made shirt
January 22, 2012

A well performing, versatile, and durable piece of active wear. I have tried various other 'moisture wicking', 'active' and 'performance' shirts, and I'm happy to have found one that will undoubtedly be a repeat purchase from now on. I've used this shirt for hiking, running errands around town, and simply lounging around the house, and it's proven comfortable in any situation I've put it through. What else is there to say about a shirt? It doesn't get in the way and it does everything it's supposed to do, all while maintaing an exceptional level of comfort and durability. So far (4 months) it's held up very well to abuse on the trail as well as repeated washings/drying. It's lightweight and easy to pack in a suitcase or backpack. The Columbia Tech Shirt is a 'clothing staple' in my dresser.

Great hot weather shirt
September 02, 2011

I used to wear Nike dri-fit t-shirts. But recently they changed their sizing and it just didn't fit right in that their shoulders became narrower. Having very broad shoulders, I found this very uncomfortable. Columbia's is slightly smaller than Nike's Dri-fit t-shirts used to be but they still offer plenty of room in the shoulders. And the light weight fabric makes it idea for hot summer days. It doesn't seem as stifling as a cotton t-shirt.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
