One route wears many different faces throughout the winter, from icy slab to wet sloppy snow. This highly technical, hardshell-stretch hybrid meets the variable demands of winter climbing head on. It’s a lightweight 3-layer jacket constructed of hardshell on the shoulders for crucial durability and full stretch in the middle for amazing mobility.
Storm clouds approaching? Fear not. Omni-Tech® waterproof-breathability and full seam sealing hold dominion throughout. A unique core venting system allows you to diffuse excess heat through vertical zippers on the chest. The main zipper is waterproof, and the attached, adjustable storm hood features laser cut breathing holes, so you can protect your face behind the high collar without compromising your air intake. For extremely cold conditions, the 3-point Interchange system allows you to attach your Columbia shell of choice. Nearly invisible hand pockets and a chest pocket keep your essentials secure.

This jacket is wicked waterproof! I just got it in the mail today and tried it out in the rain, I was of course completely dry. The Titanium quality is up there with higher priced items. I highly recommend this shell for avid outdoor enthusiests looking to brave anything nature throws against you.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Great Quality Jacket

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. It keeps the rain out and looks good. It fits me perfectly (average build) and is very comfortable. It doesn't allow a liner to be zipped in, but you could easily wear something underneath it for extra warmth. I would definitely buy this again.Pros: Great design, Build quality
High Quality but... Not Fully Interchangable

If you are like me and bought this purely as a jacket that allows you to have full zip-in capability don't buy this jacket. If you don't mind having the 3 point interchange system then BUY this jacket. The jacket is of high quality and had it not been for the interchange system, I would have kept it. I called Columbia and they don't just offer a shell that allows you to have full interchange zip-in capability which is unfortunate for a guy that wants to zip in his Columbia soft shell.Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value, Cons: Bad design
