I only wear the Columbia Skiff Guide long sleeve tee for inland and offshore fishing here in South Louisiana. So, when my wife saw the Skiff Guide polo she bought me one from Altrec for Father's Day. After I received it and tried it on I bought another one from Altrec the next day in a different color. If there's a better shirt for the heat/summer than Columbia's Skiff Guide, I've never seen it.

This Short Sleeve Polo Shirt is made of the same material as the original long sleeve version. But this shirt has the unique back vent, the same as found in the Omni-Dry Perfect Cast Polo. It makes for a super sharp-looking yet functional polo. I love the material and the fit. These polos are very comfortable in humid climates, allow for super ease of movement. They also dry quickly and maintain their shape after repeated washings. I now own 4 and am thoroughly pleased. Altrec: You should add an image showing the back of this polo. The back vent is an important element of the shirt, yet is not fully identified.

I am a longtime fan of Columbia products and this shirt did not disappoint. Comfortable and cool in the heat. Wears nicely, except the vent across the back which required some time to acclimate. Durability is good so far, but this shirt has not yet been put through a full day of fishing.
