Columbia Tamiami is todays travel choice
The shirt fits perfectly. I am 5' 11" weight 190 ... a large fits perfectly with ample room in the arm and shoulder. It is light and comfortable in tropic conditions. The shirt packs small ... a cotton tee takes nearly as much space to pack. The pockets are ample and I think the styling is conservative and not overdone with all those extra pockets and buttons that seem to reside in the travelers shirt.
This shirt is perfect for warm weather travel where sun protection is a must and temps are hot. I will certainly buy again.

I own seven colors!
This is the easiest shirt to maintain ever. I throw it in the washer and hang to dry. A few hours later it is wrinkle free and good to go. Sizes run a little big, so you be the judge judge as to how you would like the fit to be.

Comfy Lightweight
Good solid boat shirt. Lightweight, moderately loose fit. I'm 5'8 average build and the M/M fits perfect. I have 3 of these. If you are looking for a quality shirt at a fair price, this Columbia should be in the mix of your choices. Great shirt.

The best camp shirt
I have seven of these shirts and they are the best travel clothes i have ever owned. You can wad them up in a bag get to your destination and just shake them out to wear. Very comfortable and fit true. You can easily convert from long to short sleeve, has a huge number of pockets and little straps for sun glasses, compasses, etc. Best camp shirt on the market IMHO.

Superlightweight, streamlined and comfortable.
Seems to prevent sunburn, although I haven't used these in out on the ocean yet; I have many of the Sun Goddess long-sleeve shirts which are made of the same fabric, and they seem to provide protection without the use of sunscreen. SUPER lightweight, stretchy and soft, they dry in a flash and you sort of forget that you're wearing anything at all. This shirt is generously sized and has a lot of pockets, which is great for ... well ... everything! I use the Sun Goddess shirts when I want to feel well-put-together, and use the Tamiami shirts for active outings when I want pockets for fishing stuff/camera stuff, and ventilation. Fabric is lighter than the Bahama PFG, and much much lighter than the Bonehead. Live in tropical conditions now, so these have replaced the Bahama PFG as my new favorite shirt. Colors are not well represented online: campfire is a "burnt sienna" dark muted orange brown, and cantaloupe is a fairly bright salmony orange color. My Sun Goddess shirts have not faded at all in over a year, with frequent wear and washing, so I anticipate the same for these. Am ordering more for me, and for all the outdoorspeople and anglers in my life! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, and great price/service from Altrec.

Great Shirt for Women Too
I decided that since I couldn't find the type of shirt in the drab colors I wanted for a wildlife trip, I'd go with a men's shirt. This is a great shirt, soft, subdued colors, nice and cool.

One of my favorite shirts
I own a few of these shirts in different colors. I enjoy them for traveling and in hot weather environments because they are very breathable. The material is thin and soft, but of good quality. I like the option of having the sleeves rolled and buttoned up for more of a "short sleeve" look when I want. The shirts work well for outdoor activity, but are also good for casual wear. For you non-fishers out there, don't be put off by the this shirt being from the "pfg" (performance fishing gear) line.....I've never fished before in my life and I love this shirt. Note that this shirt runs large in my opinion.

Very Nice ! Great for Traveling.
This is my second purchase (different color) of this shirt. Extremely comfortable, functional and stylish. Passport and plane tickets fit nicely in pockets! Very cool!

Is a great shirt for outdors in hot and médium temperature Weather. It's very confortable to fit and easy to wash and dry.

Lucky find
Picked up my first Tamiami 2 shirt because it was on sale and now I can't get enough of them. Great for any kind of weather in the great outdoors and also for a night on the town. One of the most comfortable and well designed shirts I've owned.

Great for protection against the sun
Great shirt, very light and dries up very quickly. I use it to protect my arms from the sun and works great, it is rugged and I wear a pack and chest rig over it and the shirt doesn't fall apart.

Light weight, comfortable
This shirt has met all of my expectations for being in a hot humid situation. It also worked for more than casual dining. Spilled wine came right out. Very good investment.

Great for boating!
This is a great lightweight shirt to wear while boating for protection from the sun. The material is wonderful and looks great. The shirt also washes/dries really well and if you hang it up directly out of the dryer, it looks fantastic - no need for ironing, ever. I have this shirt in a variety of colors and it is perfect for boating and for wearing to work or out to dinner! You can't go wrong on this purchase:)

Great Outdoor, Good Indoor
I picked a few of these up as outdoor shirts, mostly for sun protection. I've used them hiking and camping with great success. I'm planning on also using them for an upcoming summer cruise. They've passed the office test (worked fine in a casual work environment) so they should work on the cruise as both activity and lazy shirts. I also like that they are light and thin for easy and small packing (I try to just do carry-on with planes). I usually pair them with the Columbia Omni Dry Mountain Tech t-shirts. With the right color selections you can make several outfits with only a few shirts.

The shirt is very comfortable and does everything it is designed to do, so don't try sporting in cold weather climates. In addition to wearing when fishing, I also use it as casual-wear in a desert environment. The sun-screen it offers is great and doesn't look like you're going on a safari trip.

Great looking shirt!
I have enough of these shirts to wear one almost every day with a pair of khakis. The shirt is cool, protects from the sun, and really looks squared away!
