Excellent product
October 13, 2012

I bought this product last month in light grape. I really like its quality. It's so soft and light. I can't wait to try using it during the coming winter. My friend has a similar product of different brand, he told me that this one has a better quality than the one he has. I would recommend it to my friend.

Pros: Build quality, light weight
Comfort: 4 / 5

Not really a Jacket
December 24, 2012

I respect the quality of Columbia products and that is why I purchased this one through the mail. This so called "Jacket" is really only a Down Sweater and works well only as a layer under warmer clothing. The price is beyond its worth.

Cons: Low performance
Comfort: 5 / 5
Durability: 5 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

Packs light and small
November 13, 2012

Very good layer item for travel. I work outdoors internationally year around, and always have baggage weight problems in the winter when I have to pack cold weather gear along with my usual work equipment. The jacket packs into the small sack provided, weighs almost nothing. This jacket makes a good second layer under a wind/water resistant shell parka, is very warm when the wind is blocked. It breathes well, so well that it is not much of a stand-alone jacket if the wind is blowing- maybe 30*-45*F comfort zone. With light winds or calm it is comfortable down to 15-20*F by itself. Under a shell parka with just a polo shirt I was comfortable at 2*F with 15-25mph winds. It is too warm to wear inside a building or vehicle if the temperature is above 60*F.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: not wind resistant
