comfy fit
December 18, 2011

These pants move very well with the active skier. There is no problem what so ever whith them slipping down (that grungie look!) and very uncomfortable. I have not had them out on a really cold day, but it seems they will be fine with the proper under layers. The size large said waist 36 to 39 which should have been fine, but I found them a bit on the small side. Maybe I changed with holiday season and all. I would deffinitely recomend this pant.

good solid product but...
January 13, 2012

So I ordered these up hoping that they would be a great answer to a skiing and riding pant, Columbia makes great products and are often overlooked for some of the more fancy brands. When I go them I was surprised how lite they were, they felt great on almost like a spring pant. But... they were really baggy and on the loose side. I'm a 35 waist and a normal 30 inseam and I ordered the Large/Short. The length was OK and I'm glad I didn't order the Regular length but I have a feeling that the mediums would be to small. I know I'm right in the middle of sizes but these would work well with suspenders. My biggest disappointment with them as I ordered the burlap print and the key word there is "print" they look bad not much even like burlap. Also the fabric looked like it could rip after a few slides not much there for durability. These weren't for me, but these would make a good general outdoor winter hiking and sledding pant maybe just not for skiing and riding.

Really solid pants for the money
March 19, 2012

I'd highly recommend these pants, especially for the money. They fit very well and are true to size. They are very warm and have plenty of pockets. I've also fallen a few times and the pants were very durable. Very happy with my purchase.

Nice but big and not very insulated
March 15, 2012

I expected these to have a little more insulation... It's more like a lining, less like insulation. Fit is pretty baggy. I ordered large and probably could've gotten by with a medium. Seem durable and ready for the mountain.

Awesome pants!
March 22, 2012

I love these pants - very comfortable, not to heavy/bulky but they are a little large. I am a female and love the way they fit. I am 5'6 so tried the the medium regulars first (32" inseam) and they were very long but the meduim short (30" inseam) are perfect. The pockets are very useful, although I would probably change the side cargo pockets to zippers instead of velcro (the two back pockets are velcro too, which works well). Overall, best buy I've made for my ski wear & gear. I think I got a pretty high quality piece of clothing for a reasonable price. Altrec also did a great job of getting the pants to me (I live in Boise so shipping was free) - I will definitely order throuh the site again.

Good pair of snowboard pants!
December 31, 2012

Good pair of pants. Just run a little too long, so I had to return. I'm 5'8" and wear a M, so if you're taller, these might be the pair for your. I ended up going with a pair of Burtons, which are more expensive, but I love.

Good Quality Ski Pants
March 03, 2013

Good ski pants that are roomy enough to allow for extra layers underneath. The regular pants fit the same as the short in men's sizes.

Pros: Great value
