Decent if you get them on sale
September 25, 2009

Wore them right away on my motorcycle in a rain storm. Kept me dry, except for a leak in a bit of the seam near my foot. They fold up pretty tight, they have a rubbery feel on the outside, and it is nice that they have a cloth inner lining so they are more comfortable over clothing or on the legs. They have single-snap side-pocket-access-flaps which could let water through if rain was blowing at you from the rear. Also, two nice snap settings on the ankles. Fit fairly slim, but big enough to go over clothing.

Light and Waterproof
February 28, 2011

Fully waterproof polyurethane means zero water getting in unlike other "breathable" fabrics. I wear these pants with a heavy duty PVC rain coat and I'm able to work outside the whole day and stay dry. I'm a 6'1" male and usually wear 32-32 pants. I ordered the medium and they fit great. They have a long inseam to allow for boots and layering.

Pros: Build quality, Great value

Good rain pants
January 04, 2010

I used these on a New Year's Eve steelheading trip where it didn't stop raining all day, and I stayed dry. I like these pants because you don't have to remove your shoes or boots before putting them on. They take up very little space when stuffed into a day pack, and they're very inexpensive compared with some of the other waterproof rain pants on the market.

good quality

Not exactly a fashion statement, but these pants will keep you totally dry in the most extreme circumstances where breathability is not a concern.

ok but not for golfing
November 18, 2010

Bought these pants for my husband to be able to golf in Ohio in the cooler weather. You have to layer because there is not a lot of material but again, they are wind pants. They run a bit big so I decided to return them. The return process is easy. I love the customer service at altrec.

Great value

These pants offer a nice compromise between jeans and chinos. You can dress them up or down as the situation dictates. Well made and comfortable across a range of temps and conditions. Good choice of mute colors. You'll not be disappointed..

Doesn't breath
May 15, 2011

It's like having a garbage bag over your legs - fine for walking your dog in the rain, but worthless for any type of aerobic activity. You'll get soaked from your own sweat before the rain gets you.

Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Great value, Cons: not breathable

great rain gear
January 15, 2010

this is the best rain gear for the price hands down. i'm a sanitation worker and work outside in all weather conditions for extended periods of time. hot rain, cold rain this gear is great to work in rain. thick but soft material holds up to work condition and allows movement.

Perfect solution
February 16, 2010

For some reason I forgot what "sage" meant, as this color is certainly a bit more green than the image suggests. In any case, they fit over my pants very easily and work incredibly well in keeping me dry. The snaps at the bottom allow for a tight fit, or for a looser closing. Highly recommended!

Keeps you dry!
September 03, 2009

Bought these pants for my Alaska trip and they worked great. Kept me dry while it drizzled and rained. Easy to put on and take off with elastic around waist for good fit and snaps on bottom to secure around ankles. Sizing is pretty close, but enough to layer underneath. Snap openings so you can get to your pants pockets. Easy to care for and wipe off after using. Great buy! My friends bought and used them too! Altrec had great customer service and help! I will definitely order from them again! Good prices, Great Service and Suggestions!
