The shirt is true to size and without a lot of razzed dazzle provides convenient pockets. The material is light weight and washes up nicely. Perfect for travel and everyday wear.Pros: Great design, Build quality

It's a comfortable shirt and looks sharp but does wrinkle. The quality seems good and because I've worn it only a few times I can't really comment of the durability but I predict that I won't be disappointed. I like my Ex Officio shirts better but then again they cost half again as much. In sum, it's a nice shirt and i am glad i bought it, esp. from Altrec.
Lightweight, Nice Looking, Great Fit, and Comfy!

Have several styles of Columbia shirts I've been wearing for years in all types of situations (casual dress, hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, etc.) throughout all seasons. These are, by far, my favorite! Material and fit are superb. Appreciate the variety of color choices so have purchased many.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever

i very happy, shirt looks good on me, i wear it for work, Fits great, went through the wash without incident...exactly what I wanted. I especially like the style and number of pockets. I looked at several other suppliers and it ended up that these were the closest to exactly what I wanted.
Comfortable and Versatile Shirt

The Columbia Silver Ridge shirt is a great shirt for hiking and backpacking - but stylish enough for wearing to work or going out for dinner. I like the flush sewn front pockets. Many shirts of this type - synthetic fabric outdoor shirts - have a box pocket which I do not like for either looks or function. The Silver Ridge shirt has a typical pockets, and also has velcro flaps on each pocket. I normally wear a size Large shirt, but in this shirt needed an XL. It's a very comfortable fabric that's light in weight, and has a very nice feel. Keeps you cool in hot weather, and dries very fast. A winner!

I purchased these for my husband who is 6'2 and 130lbs. He is very broad-shouldered and has trouble finding these types of shirts that fit in the shoulders. These fit great and the sleeves are plenty long enough. The colors are wonderful and go with everything. They are actually quite stylish - the picture doesn't do them justice. He has been wearing them constantly and say they are very comfortable. I bought them for hiking and fishing but he has been wearing them to work also.

Nice Shirt for the money

Great for everyday as well as the office.

Just as I expected from this line from Columbia, it's a great shirt. I would probably classify this as more of a travel shirt than a technical shirt, but it certainly can be used for that. It dries quickly and is well vented. The pockets are not that big, but are functional. The only word of advise is if you are between sizes and want to layer, order a size up. It fit's more like a sport shirt than a technical shirt meant to layer.Pros: Build quality, Great value
great shirt for outdoors or travel

Very nice shirt

I work outdoors, and due to past sun/skin problems, I now always wear long sleeve shirts to protect myself from the sun. The Silver Ridge II shirt feels very light (it doesn't feel like a heavy, wet rag as some shirts do when you sweat in them) and as cool as a long sleeve shirt can be in the hot sun. Columbia doesn't short you on the sleeve length as some brands seem to do. The only small criticism I have is that the shirt is somewhat large in the body (I am 5'11" and weigh 155, a true medium) but I find this with all shirts anymore, many much worse than the Silver Ridge. It does fit well in the shoulders. I guess all mediums nowadays are made for all those Americans with the large size midsection!
