Very nice casual fleece

while I wouldn't recommend this fleece for life or death situations, for casual use and layering it's great. Super soft, fit maybe a bit on the big side, not wind proof but not advertised as such.

Bought one of these and have no regrets. Fits comfortably however provides minimal protection from wind.

The zipper broke as soon as I took this jacket out of the box it was shipped in! I removed the jacket from the plastic wrap and unzipped it to try it on, which is when the zipper broke in my hand. VERY CHEAP!! Don't buy this jacket.

Very nice jackets. Sizing is correct unlike North Face that are too large. These jackets are not too thick but are great for those slightly cool days of for wearing under a shell.

These are Great! I bought two of them . They fit nice and look good. I really like the drawstring around the waist. The pockets are deep and comfy. I would surely buy again.

The Men's Steens Mountain Full Zip Fleece is a very nice casual fleece. The fit is excellent and the material is extremely comfortable. This fleece features convenient drawcords at the bottom that you can tighten to keep out the cold on windy days. A wonderful product overall.

This fleece jacket is so soft. The zippered pockets are great! No more dropping my cell phone. Temperatures have gotten in the 40's and 50's here in Michigan and I hate the bulky feeling of coats. This fleece, so far, has eliminated the need for using a bulky winter coat. The other great thing about this is that pet hair doesn't cling to it like some other fleece garmets. I hope to wear this until the snow flies, then I will wear it under the bulky winter coat.

I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to be too hot and this Steens Mountain Fleece is just perfect. I can wear it with jeans or slacks and it always feels right. They have a huge selection of colors so you'll never have an issue with getting the correct color. They're comfortable, soft and well made. I like them so much I had to buy a second one-Enjoy!

i ordered two, the olive green and bonsai jackets. really really nice. like what the other reviews have mentioned, its soft, fuzzy and altogether great. Sizing does run a little large (i usually wear an XL but in this case, an L fit me great). the only gripe i have is that the picture of the bonsai is a little off. its slightly brighter than the picture shown and the zip is green, not black. great purchase from Altrec. fast shipping, minimal packaging (way to go Altrec ! Eco-friendly and much better than other firms) and great stuff.

This is an amazingly nice fleece jacket for the price. It is clearly much higher quality than some bare bones cheap fleece jackets I have bought. The cut seems to be middle of the road, not athletic, but not a beer belly cut either. The sizing is perhaps a little on the large size. I tend to buy XL in most shirts and jackets to make sure I have enough room in the shoulders, even though an XL is typically a little big (I normally wear a 43 long athletic cut suits). The XL in this jacket was quite a bit too big, and a medium would almost fit me if I never wore anything but a snug fitting T shirt under it (I had ordered a medium for a friend and I tried it on just so see how it fit). The only downside for me was that the "Gremlin" color has a very bright/light green collar that is much brighter than it appears in the photos on line.

The steens fleece zip-up is an amazing jacket. It's very versatile. It can be used with a baselayer and insulated jacket to really keep you warm in the coldest of weather and it can be worn on a chilly day unzipped or zipped with normal clothes to keep you at just the right temperature. It's really stylish and works great. It's lightweight but warm and it packs away small. The pockets are large and work great as hand-warmers. I absolutely recommend this fleece.

This jacket is just the right thickness to either wear over a t-shirt or under a winter coat. It's made well and it's great that it has zip pockets. I think it runs a little large overall.

Great value on sale. I am using it as a midlayer under my outer shell and around the house. I'm 6'1",185 and the large is very abundant. I purchased a medium Titanium half zip shirt to layer under it and it also is full cut. It's not wind resistant so using it as an outer garment in windy conditions won't work.

I ordered this jacket for myself and I am very happy in all facets. It is roomy enough to where a sweatshirt underneath if layering is important. I is nice and soft, yet warm. The zippers all work very well and I really like the elastic cuffs. All in all, a very nice jacket.

My dad has had one for years and I always steal it from him. I came across this deal and couldn't pass it up. This is a steal, I always see this for double the price elsewhere. I can't take this off now that I have my own. I wear it to work, wear it when I go out, layer it under my ski jacket. It really is the perfect fleece. I might even buy another one.

This is truly a practical, light weight jacket that looks great.
