We wear orange Indian kurta outfits when we travel. It is difficult to find appropriate outer wear such as jackets or coats in an orange color. The Columbia Men's Tall Steens Mountain Fleece Jacket is the perfect color in burnt orange. The tall version works well with our kurta shirts which are much longer than normal shirts. The zippers are nice quality and having them on the two pockets helps to prevent iPhones, ID cards etc. from falling out when traveling. This coat is warm enough for airplanes and not too hot. It is great in jetways where it can be very cold. The jacket has a certain elegance which works well with our religious stature. The jacket folds up easily for storing in carry on luggage. I have not worn it in the rain and cannot attest to its waterproof abilities yet. Frankly, I don't see a "down side" to this jacket. It is well made for the price.

I bought this jacket for my spouse, who is 6'7" but rather tall than wide. He's always had problems finding tops w/sleeves long enough for him. The moment he put this jacket on we knew it was an excellent fit, esp. total length and sleeves length (we ordered a 3XLT in all-matching black). The jacket is soft, warm and comfy, we are hoping to get some good mileage out of it. We are city dwellers but we go tent-camping every summer. We are planning to use this jacket as a main warm jacket both for cold nights at the camp as well as a great all-year-round versatile (including layering) jacket in the city. My husband likes it so much-seems I'll be able to wash it only when he sleeps;) Very happy with the purchase!

We are having one cold winter in California this year. This jacket keeps me warm and dry. Being outside is unavoidable with such a tremendous amount of wind and rain. The jacket is lightweight, comfortable and solid. I can move around easily and stay warm without having tons of layers of clothing underneath the jacket.

Bought it for my 6'4" husband. The "tall"has sleeves long enough for him! Also love the color, and it has a nice, soft feel. A good value, and enough warmth for our "cold" days in So. Calif.

This fleece is nice, but not as warm as I thought it would be. The word jacket in the name is miss leading. I thought it would of been a little warmer than it is, because the name has "jacket", but still it's a nice fleece. The price is good and the quality is good. The inside is really soft and comfortable. So if anyone is looking for something to wear in the spring or fall, this is recommended. This is perfect to wear at temperatures of high 50's to low 60's. But not recommended to wear only this in the in winter.

This was a replacement for another bought in the early 90's and I finally lost it at an airport. It's a great jacket at a great price from Altrec.com. Delivery was very speedy.

GREAT Gift, Even for Youngster

Got this jacket for my 20 year-old godson, hoping he could layer it, etc. He called after he got it and RAVED about how great it was. No easy trick scoring a hit with these youngsters!
