The pants are lightweight & comfortable; unfortunately they don't come in a 28 or 29 " inseam, and the 30" could not be turned up because of the zipper in the leg. We had to return them.

Especially like the 10" inseam of the shorts. The only pants needed for traveling. Nice fit.

These pants easily convert to shorts for varied weather conditions. They dry quickly and have many pockets. The low weight also helps lighten the load if you're backpacking.

I bought several pairs of pants for a trip to Italy, these worked out exceptionally well, are durable but lightweight. Im very pleased with the quality and construction.
One pair had to be returned for fit issues, and the return went very well, and Altrec makes it easy to do.
I would definitely shop here again.

Excellent pants, ultra comfortable and resistant, very light, especially when you turn them into shorts.

I needed a pair of convertible pants due to the lovely weather here in Maryland and I was going fishing. I ordered these for the price and style. I was not let down. They were great, fit perfectly and I can't wait to get another pair. Oh yea, caught a 55", 55lbs rockfish, a great day!

These are nice pants and very nice quality, but, I prefer the Columbia Titanium Omni-Dry Venture II Convertible Pants. I find the material in the Venture II seems to be much, much, more comfortable. In case anyone is interested, the color Shade in these pants looked a lot darker on my monitor than what I received. I would call them more of a steel gray. I'm 6 feet tall, 175 pounds with a 34 inch waste and the medium 32 fit just right. A good buy and I will keep them.

I really like the Columbia brand. They make quality gear and have a number of other items from them, like their titanium shirts shirts. These pants just did not fit right though and I ended up returning. I am about 6' 4" and normally wear a 34 waste. first tried the large, but the waste was too large so i returned them. I then ordered the medium and they were too tight around the legs. I ended up going with a pair of REI convertable pants and they fit perfect. These looked and felt quality though if you like the fit.

I like the pants. However, I wish that Columbia had not changed their design. The old titanium pants had a zippered slash pocket on the right side and the material was heavier. The crotch was longer, which made them more comfortable. I like the old version better.

These pants are amazing. If you need a quick drying, sweat wicking, versatile pair of pants, these are them. However, Altrec is horrible. I have never posted a bad review, but they are ridiculous. It took them 14 days to even ship me these pants. I could have walked to their store before they even got the pants out the door, and I live 4 states away. Granted it was only 9 business days, but that is terrible too. When I asked them where my pants were, they told me it takes "about 7 business days for processing." About??? What kind of business is this? How about I pay you "about" $59.99 for these pants? Not only that, but they didn't even apologize for taking so long. 5 stars for the pants. -3.14159 for the shipping and customer service. Go to Amazon to buy these. Now can I still have my 20% off my next purchase still, Altrec? I wrote a review like you asked...
