Great Field Shirt
February 04, 2011
I've been using this shirt for hiking and field work in the SE CA desert. Pockets hold my notebooks and writing tools. The fabric is comfortable and feels so even during a warm day. The shirt still looks presentable at the restaurant after a day in the hot sun. Highly recommend. Looks good too! I'm 6' 34/35 sleeve. Large fits fine.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great value
Beat the SUN all day long !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May 01, 2011
THIS IS THE BEST LONG SLEEVE SHIRT I HAVE EVER WORE IN 98+ DEG WEATHER.I WEAR IT TO GO FISHING IN FULL SUN FOR ABOUT 8 HOURS AT A TIME. IT IS SO VALUABLE, GREAT PROTECTION FROM OUR BRUTAL SUMMERS, YET SO COMFY YOU DON"T REALIZE YOU ARE WEARING IT. THE VENTILATION KEEPS YOU COOL AND DRY ALL DAY LONG.THIS SHIRT IS VERY WELL MADE, TOP QUALITY FOR THE PRICE. THIS IS THE TYPE OF SHIRT YOU CAN WEAR FOR ANY OUTDOOR ADVENTURE, OR RUNNING YOUR WIFE AND DAUGHTER TO THE MALL, IT IS VERY VERSITIAL.TRUST ME ON THIS ONE GUYS YOU WILL WANT MORE THAN ONE.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Great value

I ordered the XL in white and it's on the big side but in the heat of the summer you don't want a tight fitting shirt. The thing is amazing feels like you are have no shirt on and stains come out great I got mud all over my shirt from a fish and I just did a soak and a wash and it looked brand new. I can't say enough about this shirt!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Comfortable Versatile Great Looking Shirt
November 04, 2010
I really enjoy wearing this shirt. It looks great for as a casual sport shirt, but it is also a high performance outdoor shirt. I love it for hiking and outdoor wear. So much better than sweaty, clammy cotton. Personally, I can do without the buttons to hold up the long sleeves. I prefer to just roll up my sleeves -- like any other long sleeve shirt. One thing I like about this shirt is that the chest pocket are sewn flush at the bottom. I don't like the looks of many other similar shirts that a box bottom on the pockets. The inclusion of a pen opening in the chest pocket flaps would be good, but not having it is not a big deal. I enjoy and recommend this shirt.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance

Outstanding product. Outstanding service. Tough combination to beat.
Silver Ridge shirt
November 03, 2010
I have a pair of the silver ridge pants and wear them all the time, so I figured I would buy one of the shirts. Nice asst of colors to choose from, breathable, quite comfy. I look forward to wearing it on my next excursion.Pros: Ease of use, Cons: Cost
Too long and wide
February 25, 2011
I really wanted to love this shirt, but it's WAY too long and wide. Size medium. I mean, does Columbia assume that the only people who would want to wear this kind of shirt are overweight? I'll be looking for something else with a more tapered fit, because not everyone who has an athletic build wants to wear underarmour all the time. Buy it if you're looking for a circus tent.Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value, Cons: too long and wide
April 06, 2011
Comfortable and fits well. After I bought one, I knew I wanted more. I now own five different colors of this shirt. Great quality shirt. Launders well... does not wrinkle, just wash and wear.
November 01, 2010
The nylon material wicks moisture and dries real quick. It is also very light, and surprisingly sturdy. My only complaint is that the sleeves are way too long. Almost 3 inches longer than any other shirt of size M that I own.Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, dries quickly, Cons: sleeves too long
great for Italy
May 17, 2011
Bought three of these shirts before spending a month in Italy. They were very comfortable, washed up in the sink and hung dry for the next day's travels, and were great sun protection on the sunniest days. Like the roll up sleeve feature and how light and easy to pack they are.Pros: Performance

This shirt worked really well in the Caribbean. I will be ordering more colors. It packs very well and drys easily. Pretty much all the other reviews are correct in how well this shirt does in warmer climates.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value

This shirt fit well, packed very easily and was extremely versatile on our Costa Rica Adventure. I used the shirt at as a layering piece, for added warmth in the chilly mornings & evenings and I also used it to make a resort dinner a bit more formal.Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

It's a great shirt with great material and dries super quickly....I live in Costa Rica and is great for the tropical environment!
Good for Travel
April 08, 2011
I ordered this shirt specifically for an upcoming trip to Peru. I figured I'd order it a few months ahead of the trip so I could see ahead of time whether or not it'll work. I've worn it once for a day hike to test it out. The fit is loose. I'd prefer a slightly more fitted cut, but I knew what I was getting when I purchased. What I particularly like about the Columbia vented shirts is that the vents aren't as obvious as others (ex MHW Canyon shirt). These run vertically on the back of the shoulders, and dont billow like other shirts. Its also more versatile than most shirts. It can be long or short sleeve, and the vents allow it to be worn in warm or cool weather (with another layer). The material appears durable, the cut is good, and the price is good. After seeing this shirt, I've since ordered another columbia shirt for my trip.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value

The only shirt I take to the tropics, Africa, SouthEast Asia. I take all my Titanium shirt colors along. Best shirt ever for any heat and humidity environment. Get one and get hooked!!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Nice ventilation design
August 09, 2010
Cloth is extremely light and has good texture. This is a very nice and subtle hiking shirt; unlike the ones with the easily-visible horizontal ventilation on the back, this shirt has very discrete panels where it connects to the arm sleeve. I usually wear Medium, but these are way too baggy for me though.
Whats not to like?
June 16, 2011
I have purchased eight Columbia shirts in the last month and love them all but the Silver Ridge II Titanium (have three) is a very good looking and functional shirt and it fits very well in 'dress casual' gatherings. On the water they are cool and dry and stains clean so easily. Even blood washes out without any trouble. I bought mine on sale and basically got two for one. I felt like I hit the shirt lottery;-} I like Altrec too. Great company to do business with! I'll be a customer for a long time. The picture is a BLACK Titanium Silver Ridge II on a 97 deg. 90% humidity day. No Sweat!! No Kidding!!! I love Em'Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Great All Round Shirt
October 08, 2010
This is a great everyday shirt that can be worn for outdoor activities and also for casual wear. I bought a medium regular and the fit is just about perfect. I would recommend this shirt to anyway and may have to buy another.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance
great all around shirt
September 09, 2010
I bought my first silver ridge II shirt a few months ago, and have already bought others in different colors. It is a lightweight, roomy and comfortable shirt. Good room in the shoulders. Can go from the mountainside to a restaurant without a problem. Good purchase!
Excellent outdoor shirt
November 05, 2010
Very comfortable and durable. Even on the hottest day you don't feel you are wearing a shirt. Highly recommended.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: Cost
Great shirt for warn outdoor activity

I live in the desert, and protection from the sun is paramount. This shirt gets it done with comfort.
Great Travel Shirt
September 25, 2010
I am so happy that Columbia is finally making its high end techinical apparel in true Big and Tall sizing and in colors that work for travel (and not just the pastel fishing colors.) The Titanium Silver Ridge II Long Sleeve Shirt is an excellent addition to my travel wardrobe. It offers a comfortable fit with plenty of length in the sleeves and body. The fabric is a perfect all-season weight. Not quite as thin as the Bahama but breathable and very comfortable in hot weather nonetheless. Its generous cut makes it perfect for layering in cooler temps as well. I am ordering 2 or 3 more (in Black) to keep on hand. The "Gravel" color, which appears to be Grey, is actually more of an Army Green drab.Pros: Great design, Performance, true big & tall sizing
March 15, 2011
This shirt fits perfectly. It has a nice feeling to it, it dries fast and color selection is excellent. I am not sure yet about long term durability but from previous experience with Columbia I am expecting this to last for a very long time. Would definitely buy again, from Altrec.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great value

Love this product. Own several different colors of this shirt and it is great. From stream fishing and winter in Montana to beach wear in North Carolina, product does just what it advertises. Well vented and water resistant, cool enough for the beach and great as a middle layer for winter. Buy with confidence1
