Great Support and very Orthotic friendly.

Excellent stability for walking on any surface resulting in being able to travel over long distances with absolutely no foot pain or fatigue. These shoes are so much better than the other trail shoe brands I have tried through the last 3 yrs. The only negative is their less than ideal wear resistance in the heel area for users with an uneven foot strike. A more abrasion resistant material in this location would have made these shoes perfect.

Excellent shoes for hiking

Got these as a Deal of the Day. Wasn't sure what to expect from a shoe made by Columbia but I am very impressed with these. Well built and durable, they are perfect for my feet....which are slightly wider and flatter (arches) than most. They also have plenty of room for an orthotic piece. They are great for everything from for short jogs around the neighborhood to a long day hike with a light pack. And for the price these were a steal!Pros: comfort, durability, value
Black/ Electric Ave and Mud/ Cedar.
