Love it!!!
September 12, 2011

I love this bag very much. The capacity is large for me. When I went to the vocation last week, I used it. The color is cool!! Many people asked where I bought it. I recommended this website to them.

Great design in a small pack
March 05, 2011

This was purchased for a high school student that only needs to carry around gym clothes, a netbook, a large folder and a couple of other little things. It is perfect for that purpose, although I can see the features were meant for bike commuting. I of course tortured my son by making him try on MANY packs in many stores before finding this one. The size and compartment configuration is perfect, but it's all worth nothing if the pack has goofy, ill-fitting straps. These fit perfectly. And the removable waist strap is a smart design feature. The side mesh pockets are deep and are perfect for an umbrella and a Nalgene bottle - they don't fall out. Back to the compartments, there are three - the one that can be either a small computer pocket or for an hydration bladder is almost a secret compartment. The zipper is right on the top by the grab-handle, but it has a flap that keeps out the rain and also hides the pocket nicely. Looking over the pack what I am struck by is just the nice details. This is just a well-designed, quality, smaller volume pack. Try it on somewhere else, and by it cheaper here.

A Great Day-HikeBackpack, but Very Small
January 25, 2011

This backpack arrived a few days ago and while it is a very good piece of equipment for any person looking to go for a quick day-long hike, the main purpose I needed it for was school use. It seems very durable, and the hydration port is a great bonus, however the backpack itself is extremely small. I typically carry around my 15.4" laptop, charger, as well as 3 to 4 small textbooks. My laptop however barely fit in the pocket, and it is a challenge to zip the laptop pocket up with it in. When the laptop is in, the main pocket barely manages to hold 3 books and a charger. If I was only using this as a day-hike backpack to hold a hydration pack and emergency supplies it would be perfect, however as a commuter/laptop backpack, this bag ultimately falls very short. Luckily Altrec's return service is perfect!

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Cons: small laptop case, low capacity
