Description

Quickly making a name for itself as the sexiest ski pant ever, this versatile Omni-Tech® piece is sleek, stretchy, and super flattering. Comfy, 4-way cyberstretch fabric sports great mobility and our highest level of waterproof-breathability. Full seam sealing completes the wet-proof package so you stay dry on the soggiest chairlift rides. Omni-Heat® thermal insulation and thermal reflectivity provide insane warmth in a soft, lightweight package.

An ingenious zip-out fleece waistband provides extended coverage against arctic gusts in the lower back area, which is crucial when you’re sitting or bending over. Tuxedo-pant-inspired satin ribbons run down the side seams for a supremely sassy effect. Pockets zippers are waterproof, an internal leg gaiter seals out wayward snow, and vents on outer legs zip open to disperse excess heat.

KICK BUTT PANTS
March 19, 2011

I have always loved Columbia but the pants I had owned were pretty generic and boring. This year I finally decided I needed to upgrade. I choose this pant because the color, style, and of course, the omni-heat. I had watched the demonstration video and was super excited to try them out for myself. The back gator is awesome, the omni-heat technology is the best in warmth ever, the color rocks and they super cute. I would buy this in multiple colors if they had them!!! BUY THEM!!!

the pants run a little big, in the size chart I was a medium but upon receiving the pants and trying them on I was definitely a small. Otherwise they're warm and comfortable!

Columbia Women's Back It Up Pants
February 05, 2011

The main reasons I bought these pants are for warmth and style. For warmth, it is super. About style, I am not too sure, because the size runs a little big. I normally wear size 8 or medium. However, with this medium, you can wear long underwears and still feel roomy. Small size may have a better fit for me. Nevertheless, I decided to keep the medium for super warmth and comfort. When I am armed with these pants, I don't not worry about going out in the bitter cold and biting wind. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase.

warm but waistband is odd fitting
March 11, 2011

These pants were more insulated than I expected but the shiny liner makes them slide easily over long underware. What I find odd is a neoprene like 'collar' at the back of the pant at the waistline. The waistband is a bit saggy in the back so I'm not sure if this collar thing is supposed to serve as a gaitor of sorts to keep out snow or what the purpose. I am 5'4", 180 lbs and an agressive skier. I ordered a large and an extra large to compare. The extra large is too big in all areas. The large fit in overall length but no where else. I'll be returning these unfortunately since the fit at the waist is too loose. I also found the rise or distance from the crotch to the waistband to be very short-think hipster jeans. I'm a 42 year old mom and need my hips and belly to be covered.

Great Pants - Run Big
February 15, 2011

These are great pants - they are definitely warm, comfortable, and durable. The extra material in the back is a really nice feature. My only complaints is the absence of a lower leg pocket and that they run pretty big - I am 5ft 6in, 135 lbs and ordered a small... I probably could have sized down. I wish they had the waist cinchers like other Columbia pants have.

Very warm
December 17, 2010

the ski pants are excellent! they are very warm, lightweight, and the zipper to open up in case it gets too warm is a great idea. I feel warm even though its snowing and windy. I initially got this in small but i found that its tight for me on the thigh although it fits perfectly on the waist. I'm a curvy girl so i opted for medium. Fits perfectly on the thighs but a little loose on the waist. Another thing is, i wish the company would make a shorter version of this. I'm not tall, 5'2" and they run a little long for me. But overall, great product, keeps you warm and it looks nice.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: Cost, no petite size
