Comfy but too large
November 21, 2012
This is a nice and comfy jacket but unfortunately, the fit is not for me. Like other reviews, I found the sleeves and length of the jacket quite too long for my petite 5'2" frame. I had ordered an XS. I am still looking for that perfect jacket.

Very flattering cut. I bought the dark plum one and the color is lovely. It keeps me warm in San Francisco autumn. The only problem is that the sleeves are too long.Pros: Great design, Great value, Cons: sleeves too long
Fantastic Feminine Cut
October 16, 2012
Fantastic cover for seasonal changes when you need a light easy to pack piece of clothing or a top layer. I usually don't like hoodies, but his one's hood is carefully crafted to fit over the head and stay there when you need it and folds down draping nicely in the back without being cumbersome. I am I am 5'8' and 160 lbs, and appreciate the zip up front, and very flattering feminine curve cut. This jacket is perfectly tailored to give extra cover for your neck when fully zipped. It's slightly longer sleeve length covers and keeps your wrists warm. If you are planning to wear this over a sweater, plan to order the next size up. I find that when wearing this lovely form fitting style you'll appreciate the extra room if layering over a sweater.Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: may fit smaller than you expect if layering.
Benton Springs Long Hoodie.....but
November 28, 2012
Not as good as the Columbia Women's Benton Springs Hoodie. I was originally going to buy that one when I came across the long hoodie and saw how much more feminine this one looked. This one seems to have been made with a "thinner" fleece material. While I did wear my usual duofold thermals under my coolmax sweater and my Columbia Benton Springs vest I could still feel somewhat cold. My arms were also cold where as with the regular Benton Springs Hoodie my arms are pretty warm. The inside pockets were a plus until you reach all the way down and realize the opening at the bottom. I will be sewing that part shut. The hood is pretty big but not a problem to me. I really like the style so I'll keep it. I'm only recommending this because it is stylish. I bought the x large - don't like my clothes too fitted - in charcoal heather and it is pretty big. Large would have been fine. I think I'll buy the regular Benton Springs Hoodie. I can wear the Long Hoodie to get from point a to point b by car but not when the temps are too low and it's windy - unless, of course, I wear a fully lined vest.Pros: Great design, Ease of use, stylish, Cons: Cost, Low performance, Poor quality, thin fleece
Not boxy ... shaped well
December 01, 2012
I was looking for a transitional fleece jacket and this fits the bill! I got deep plum, sophisticated shade, length is mid thigh on my 5'4" frame, light weight with just the right warmth. Semi-fitted with princess seams for a more feminine look. Can't wear bulky layers underneath.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value
Warm and cute
November 18, 2012
This fits great everywhere but the sleeves are really long and a bit "belled". Overall a flattering look. Love the colors and it is warm. I bought one for me and one for each of my daughters.Pros: Performance, Cons: long sleeves
Runs VERY small
November 16, 2012
I like the jacket. I wear a medium in Columbia ( and that BIG on me). I ordered a medium in this and it is tight. There is no possibility of layering anything under it. Order at least one size larger then you normally would.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Cons: runs very small
